Didn't have food there, but what I saw being served looked very nice.

Great old pub with a lot of history, beer is great and staff very friendly. It's great to sit in the courtyard on a sunny day. (Edit 2023 October) it's really cool that now you can chill out in one of the Stables. £4.80 for a pint of Beechwood beer, I don't know of a cheaper pint of real beer in Aylesbury 👍.

Wonderful on so many levels. Great real ales, wonderful food and friendly service. For those who like architecture, this place is a dream, straight out of the history books. So lovely to step back in time to a cosy pub, in a world crowded with modern bars.

First time visiting this place and I’m very impressed. I’ve heard of the history of the building and was very keen to see this wonderful historic place and inside it was extremely calming. The staff were friendly and obviously very good at what they do.
The food was amazing.
One issue, maybe look at adding more vegan options too the menu please.

A beautiful pub with Friendly staff, good quality beer from a Family owned brewery -Chiltern Brewery(worth to visit) 🙂 No parking available, but try Morrisons. 10 minutes walk from the pub. We will return. ❤️
