Was told this place was like my hometowns local burger place..long story short
OVER priced and super small portions. we eneded up eating mc donalds after here would not recomend if super hungry

"The Pop's Burger" is hands down THE BEST burger in Bakersfield! It's as juicy as a summer peach! Idk how they did it, but I haven't tasted a burger better than this one! I've tried Frosty King, I've tried John's Burgers, I've tried Golden Ox. They're all second place to this masterpiece!

I order a blt and the bread was burn and soggy the bacon was over cooked to much mayo and 2 crumbs of lettuce on each side the fries to salty

Great place for a quick lunch. Awesome staff always get your order right the first time. Can be a full drive thur at times. Some if the best fried food you can get. Also great french fries with there house ranch.

I enjoy the food at Pops which is why I'm writing this. Google suggests they close at 9pm, when I arrived at 8:30 they were already closed. I asked a worker what time they close and he said "9 o'clock". I informed him of the time and went about my night to another restaurant. Be aware they do close earlier than 9 of your thinking of grabbing a late night meal.

Only thing bad here is that they fill up your cup with ice before adding the soda and you get nothing. I took 3 sips then it was just a cup filled with ice 😑 food is great doe can't complain and they are pretty fast too.

I go to pops to get a jumbo fries with $5. The cost of the fries says $4.49 but my receipt has $4.99. I only had 5 bucks, total came out to $5.35. I told the lady the sign says a different price. I walked home,got my wallet and came back. The employee said they dont change the sign. I will be returning to pops, but am highly disappointed.
