Olde Downtown Tavern

I'm employed here as a server, bartender and a cook as well! Our establishment is full of great people doing our best to bring as much local vibes from many local people offering lots of local entertainment and many local vendors contribute to so many of our menu items as well as shines and brews! Come check it out I guarantee you will not be disappointed but yet leave with a smile and full belly of great food!

The updated Bar is really nice and 100% better than before. The pool table and area is really nice. They have a DJ booth now the remodeled the whole bar and its awesome and the staff is very friendly. They have really good food, if you get fries you have to try their special sauce, it's delicious. The back Patio is utilized now and the bar is no smoking, so people go to the patio to smoke, which is nice. The bar isn't smokey and it's a good environment you can breathe in and not be covered and choked by smoke.

I see what they are going for and is has the potential to be really great, especially for its location. I went in with low expectations and with an understanding that literally everywhere has staffing issues. I was completely underwhelmed. And a little irritated. Even for being shorthanded, it was a week night and not remotely busy. Servers were friendly but mostly nonexistent. Food came out fast but was cold (French fries and nachos alike), part of our order never arrived. We would have gotten a second round of drinks at least but after thirty minutes of no one coming to our table we walked up to the bar to close out and leave, like a couple of other tables. If you want to have a serve yourself model that's totally ok, but make that part of the plan.
