Ye Olde Spring Valley Tavern

So, we received an email offer from Local Flavor to purchase a coupon for this restaurant. It is situated between Routes 378 and 412 and the rural venture off of Black River Road shower a beautifully appointed neighborhood. The tavern sits on a relaxing and beautifully landscaped property and includes a screened in building, outdoor patio area, octagonal, umbrella topped tables, and the indoor dining areas plus bar. Four segmented parking areas for about 50 + cars. Now for the dining experience! First a shout out to the chefs, Nick & Mikey, who prepared, arranged and presented the Broiled Seafood Sampler: generous piece of haddock, 1 shrimp, 3 scallops, 1 clam casino and a SVT crab cake, a HOT baked potato with six hearty stalks of broccoli. We added a Spring mix side salad for $4 served fresh and topped with red bell pepper, grape tomatoes, cubes and delicious HOMEMADE Dijon Vinaigrette. We ordered the trout appetizer dotted with capers, raw red onion and an awesome sauce of their homemade Tiger sauce. And to our server who ROCKED throughout with her genuine personality and efficient delivery of each course, timely and tactful. . . . KAYLEE. She was an absolute delight in many ways. And hubs rarely orders dessert although just the mention of that Banana Cake with swirls of cream cheese frosting changed his mind. Homemade, moist and fresh. All around delightful dining experience!

Super cool historic era restaurant & tavern. Really unique location. Nice outdoor seating.the bar area is perfect for meeting locals.awesome wings! Their are traditional &non traditional menu items. Trout and haddock are two types of fish they feature.If you are looking for a laid back dinning experience with Excellent food and drink choices.,this is a must go. Prohibition era history is in the air. The really cool tin roof in the bar makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. I recommend This place Big time!

My love of my life and I chose Spring Valley Tavern as our place to be wed and to have our reception. They have the most friendliest up the greatest accommodations for party of under 100 which are beautiful covered gazebo and their delicate man-made River with their beautiful Red Bridge. Their food is exquisite and their prices are so affordable. The Ambiance is beyond belief and we are so excited for the September with them. I will share pictures and update my experience after the wedding.

Tucked backed in Center Valley between routes 412 and 378, nestled on winding road is this historic restaurant. Early arrival @ 4pm allowed us a window table overlooking the beautifully landscaped back property and rear parking lot. A screened in building for the band and diners plus rock bubbles, octagonal picnic tables with an under deck seating area as well. And the multiple trout selections, in addition to daily specials allow some thing for everyone. We opted for a trout appetizer topped with red onion rings, capers and delicious horseradish sauce. Yum! Two broiled seafood combination s, baked potato and fresh steamed broccoli ($34) with a side salad upcharge of $4. Ended with a block of homemade banana cake topped with cream cheese icing $7. Delicious. And the impeccable service by KAYLEE, who ROCKED with her pleasant manner and well versed description of foods throughout. And a special shout out to the chefs in the kitchen, Nic & Mikey who bear the brunt of all restaurants with purchase, preparation, presentation of all food. Thank you for a job well done. We may not see you but your appreciated as well.
