Great food and knowledgable staff. I accidentally made a reservation 2 weeks ahead of when we showed up. While the dining room was full, we were sat at a table in the saloon and still had an amazing time. One of the few restaurants that actually had 6 feet of space between tables. All employees masking up appropriately. Fried chicken was amazing and moist. Do not fear the pickle brine as I did, it is delicious. Definitely a meal for 2! On the short walk back to the car, we stopped by a fire and watched the draft horses get cared for. This continues to be one of our favorite experiences when we come to Big Sky.

My favorite place to visit in Big Sky! The saloon is the perfect place to sit, enjoy a cocktail, relax, and listen to music. I highly recommend making reservations in advance for dinner. Request to sit in from of the fireplace. It’s beautiful. The staff is friendly, the food is fabulous, and the atmosphere is perfectly Montana. For the menu, try everything! It’s all delicious!

Decent restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were staying at Lone Mountain Ranch so it was super convenient (I believe they allow outside guests to dine inside with a reservation). We ate here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Breakfast was by far superior - their pancakes were to die for! For dinner we had the Wild Boar Pozole (YES!), Vegan Enchilada (good), and schnitzel (also good). Nothing really blew us away as far as food was concerned for dinner. The atmosphere is awesome though, go for a drink and aps in the bar if you can. They have live music on the weekends as well. Food: 7/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 10/10

It’s more than just dinner! This is a charming experience from check in to saying goodbye. The sleigh ride is so fun and darling. You’re pulled by beautiful horses and friendly cowpolk. They give you wool blankets to wrap up in for a cozy ride. Once inside they have live music and delicious food! I over ate and would 100% do it again. It’s nice and toasty inside, low lighting gorgeous wood table to dine on and an amazing staff. PS The ride back is quicker too, which is nice for the post dinner sleep.

What a great place! Everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the wine selection, the live music, and the food. Our waiter was great also. We decided to get a couple entrees to try a variety of food and we all really enjoyed the meatloaf and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was super delicious. The short ribs would have been better if they didn’t burn the outside. Definitely make a reservation because they do seem to be pretty busy. The atmosphere of this place was my favorite!

We had dinner here last night, and the whole experience was fantastic! We had a reservation - highly recommend doing this - as we walked in and got sat right away. We were out in the covered patio area and the heaters made the space plenty warm. It’s cozy and comfortable, while being refined and cabin-chic. The fondue appetizer was incredible! Our server recommended my drink based on what I like, and she was spot on. My husband had the bison meatloaf and his plate was clean by the end of the meal. This place is a must-do while visiting Big Sky!

Amazing, must go. My only questions going in that I didn’t see on reviews were about attire. You can dress up for evening dinner in thigh high boots and a sweater dress, or jeans and a blouse. It’s great because you can go either way! Just remember parking is like 50-75 yards away and you have to walk uphill so plan accordingly in winter months! Such a great place, service, food, atmosphere, everything 🥰

One of the "best" restaurants in Big Sky. Make sure to have reservation. Located in resort off the main drag. The covered deck was perfect setting as it snowed outside. Live music definitely gave us feeling we were in for a treat. Menu was inviting and was excited to try everything. We were four food and beverage guys that were game to see if cuisine matched our menu curiosity. Very eclectic and diverse wine list for all tastes and budgets. Elk meatballs, wild boar pozole, smoked trout spread, fried chicken, egg nog Crème Brûlée, bison short ribs and cauliflower steak were some of the items were shared. Overall, we felt the food could have used more attention to temperature, portion sizes and ingredients care. For instance, bison ribs were three small pieces and overloaded with mashed potatoes. Meatballs were overcooked, so why use Elk? Etc... In addition, our server (though extremely friendly) was green and missed several basic points of service. Shouldn't he give option for fourth rib for four guys sharing? Plus, he appeared overwhelmed with business level. Therefore disappeared and neglected table maintenance throughout our experience. Not to say food and service were poor, but price point was not cheap. Therefore, the entire experience needs to reflect this. Being from Las Vegas, we know tourist traps...this was one of them. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance and company. Can say we did it...we will most likely just enjoy bar area for drinks next visit.
