The Grove Pub & Restaurant

What a place! A nice, clean, friendly pub with big screens showing sport and a good selection of drinks. And then the food... absolutely top-tier currys! The mixed grill is a fantastic portion and incredibly tasty too. Overall, this place was a brilliant, relaxed evening. We will definitely be coming back.

Food was beautiful best curry I've ever eaten (Lamb special rogan Ghost) Staff friendly. Portion sizes are huge! I will definitely return and it's Quite busy which is always a good sign. Would be nice to have a option for smaller rice portion sizes as in my group we wasted alot of the rice which I hate waste! Mixed grill was huge we had the 15pound one and we couldn't finish it. Only down side is the Toilets they were disgusting 🤢, that was the only let down.

This is a great pub with great food and a good selection of meals/currys to choose from. The lamb curry was simply perfect, done properly and with the right balance of spices and flavours. The fish pakora is the best I've tasted in any pub so far. The service is decent and the atmosphere is of a typical pub with lots of screens. Keep in mind that the food will all be prepared together so once they call you to collect your food you'll have all of it (starters and main course) in one go, so if you want to take it slow, just let them know in advance.

Eaten in and had take-aways for years here. Always tasty food. The mixed grill is great, plentiful and good value. But the curries are now £10 for a container take-away and expensive. Just a point, the chef that served me had handled food on a previous order, used the till and then took cash for my order - no hands-washing in between.
