Buffet Island

Good range of dishes. Definitely wasn't the 100+ as advertised on the website but the dishes were delicious. Favourites included crispy seaweed, chicken and mushroom and beef in black bean sauce. Restaurant was quite busy but dishes were replenished as needed. Staff were very friendly and prices are extremely reasonable. Will be returning.

We booked a table for a birthday party and were able to bring our own decorations and cake etc. We stayed for two and a half hours and on the whole the staff were friendly, the food was good value and tasty. The only negatives were the lady on the carvery who did not smile or say a word and put people in our party off going back up for more! Also, there needs to be more dietary information on the website and the labels on site, other than whether something is vegetarian or not. I felt I was holding up other diners on a busy weekend by having to refer to a binder, which has a 4 page long list of every dish and every allergen!

As ever we had a lovely meal with plenty of choice. All the usuals plus some welcome extras, and as always the deserts are great. The staff are attentive and quick to clear any plates. The restaurant has a contemporary decor and is very clean. Great value for money with the only possible downside being that I always over eat every time!

An excellent place for a nice chill session. Had a decent time but can get very crowded so expect to wait to be served but if you are with good company, that is ok :) especially at the bar. It does have a decent decor with friendly staff that are more than happy to do some recommendations, so I'm guessing decent staff training days. Overall a decent place to go with the family

Excellent buffet in a very good location coming from Great Barr towards Sutton. Parking is excellent as they have a huge car park all around the Restaraunt. Pricing is reasonable we have been for lunch time meetings and also evening dinner and both prices are reasonable lunch time prices were £5 child and £8 adult and evening prices were £8 child and £14 adults. With the evening selection there is so much more is I noticed a lot more sea food such as King Prawns in the evening and more Houses of chicken than than the lunch choice. The lunch choice isn’t bad at all everything seems hot and cooked fresh , the chefs repeatedly come out and check the food is hot and clean around and whether it needs topping up. There are many styles of tables square rectangle and a few larger circular tables for large families. We noticed a room where I think it was private family functions which is ideal for birthdays etc when we enquired they said this was at no extra cost just depends if the amount of people is large enough to fill the room. Food selection is great they have all the basic starters and fresh cooked starters as you watch and wait. They have counters where sushi is being prepared and also where they can make fresh noodles and chicken skewers, you can select what you want and how you want it so something a little different , choice if deserts is good and drinks are at the bar and offer a large selection of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. We would recommend.
