Whitehorse Chloe

Nice modern cafe in Box Hill. The smoking croissant benedict was an absolute winner!!! Eggs were poached perfectly and sour pickles were the perfect addition. It was plain delicious - 5/5. The sesame panna cotta was smooth and flavoursome. It did need some kind of liquid (milk, yoghurt) as it was fairly dry. Presentation wise, it's beautiful! 4/5 Service was friendly and they are so aware of ppl taking pics and videos of their meals they actually tell you to get the camera ready lol.

Really clean and classy looking restaurant tucked away at the base of one of the new towers in Box Hill. Service was quick as the place was unexpectedly quiet, not that we were complaining. We ordered the Smashed Avo and the Summer Goddess, each with a side of bacon, because... Bacon! Food was fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. The bacon was smoky and crispy and emotional! We'll be back!

I got a few friends to try Whitehorse Chloe with me, and even though they don’t allow bookings under 8 people, they kindly made an exception and let us book for 6 with a high chair. I called the morning before to confirm the booking and the high chair but the staff seemed a bit confused, but did managed to confirm my booking. When I arrived though the high chair was nowhere in sight and I had to ask again. We got seated along a very narrow walkway and the sun was shining right into our eyes, and even though they kindly pulled down the blinds, there is just this one little floor to ceiling windows without blinds that had the sun shining in our eyes all throughout our meal. We ordered coffees which didn’t arrive for a good 20 mins, and this happened twice. My soy mocha was so bitter that it was undrinkable, and the staff said she will check? (Not sure how they normally check. Do they taste the coffee I sipped already?!) anyway thankfully they are happy to replace with a soy hot chocolate instead. What I really loved was their lobster burger. Tender succulent pieces of lobster on a green (matcha? Pandan? Just green colour for insta effect? Can’t really taste it) bun, which was really delicious. Kiddies had a breakfast board which they loved with avocado, egg and vegemite soldiers, coyo w granola and orange juice. They smashed it before I can say Yummy breakfast board. We also had the salmon croquettes which had interesting elements like omelette lollipop (Japanese sweet omelette on a stick) but overall I felt the salmon was a bit too fishy for my liking. All in all, the food was really good but the service is dismal and my mocha is not that great (although my dining companions coffees are fine)

Friendly barista, good food, but don't sit next to the windows on a hot day. Owner lady doing smoothie was super b*tchy as they were clearly very short staffed but kept telling her waiters off. Even us as customers were understanding but she were slowly doing her things or chatting with friends which really added to the fire. Our food did also take 30mins to come out so it was a bit disappointing considering we sat without aircon on a 40C day, we weren't comfortable at all. Waiting staff was trying his best but we didn't get our menu until 15mins in. The whole experience took a while.

Wow What a beautiful lunch and experience I just had here. Being a cold brew fan,. I was stocked when they brought my cold brew which I'm sure to them it was something simple but to me it looked amazing...and it tasted just as good as it looked. For a meal I chose the fat piggy...mainly because of the name...and I was so impressed with this also...that pork belly, succulent and tasty...the soft boiled egg perfect for me.

Saw this place when I drive pass Whitehorse Road, so decide to pop in for a coffee and small bite before dinner. Coffees were average. Ordered Umami chips （was expecting seasoned chips), but it comes out just normal unseasoned fries (not even salt) with a bit of sriracha mayo on the side. That’s very misleading, if I was told it is just normal fries, I wouldn’t order it for sure. Other than that, service was great.
