Tippler's Tap

We saw that the fried chicken wings of this restaurant had a good rating so went to this restaurant mainly for the fried chicken wings but their chicken wings was not impress me maybe because we prefer Asian chicken wings korean Japanese style, however, the chicken wings are not like Asian style, so we are not used to eating them, but the fried mushrooms are delicious. The sandwiches are also delicious. Pack a fried mushroom or a sandwich and go to the park to eat and watch the river view must be very nice. The waitress is very friendly and enthusiastic, and the environment of the restaurant is also unique.We will most likely visit again on our next visit to Southbank Park

I find my favourite fried chicken wings here, you definitely need to have a try especially if you don’t like oily chicken wings like me(it is not battered). For wings here, I can eat a lot at one time. It is also famous for its beers, people there is very nice to introduce their beers for you based on your preferences. Very nice place to chill out with your friends. There are even three “cottages” for private conversion as well. Love it!

And thank you for the affirmation that your establishment is not family friendly with kids meals "all universally pretty similar". ______________ Hi Owen, It appears you had a good time, yet gave us a 1 star review because you weren’t allowed to purchase a kids meal to eat as you are an adult ? As the staff explained there are various reasons the kids meals are only for kids, such as price and stock levels. I assure you that chicken nuggets, Dagwood dogs and fish and chips are all universally pretty similar. ______________ Nice chills as always. This time on a sloppy jo! Nice to see some kids menu, but was refused when ordering it... Why should I bring my family here without trying it? This is not a usual family restaurant, why should my kids come enjoy sitting around adults have a few beer, if the kid menu was not great?

I love tippler's tippity tap tap also such a cute name also the burgers here might be my favorite thus far in Brisbane but also I haven't had that many burgers in my lifetime but there is something just fantastic about this place. Service is super fast and the drinks selection is fantastic. I like it.

Tippler's Tap is an exceptional dining experience. Their great range of fast and delicious food is an experience to remember, well cooked and well presented, and very reasonably priced. They also have a fantastic range of boutique beers and ales, to tempt your tastebuds. I highly recommend Tippler's Tap in Southbank for a great feed and a quiet drink.

Unfortunately the lady serving was absolutely obnoxious. My wife and our friends we’re gobsmacked when we were told to hurry up and order while we were looking through the great range of beers served here. I then asked what size a pony beer was when the lady again was abrupt and rude. We were the only patrons at this time 7:30 on a Thursday night. She then continued to shake her head at us and mutter under her breath as we looked through the selection of drinks after we were served. We loved the look of this place, the music being played and what could’ve been a great evening there. I would give it another chance if I saw someone else serving - she was that rude she has won this place 1 star. Paying good money for poor service is annoying. 1 star! Nick
