If you’re looking for fast friendly service with a menu that is priced according to pictures of meals. Then look no further. This place suits travellers or individuals on a tight budget that needs a nutritional meal to kick start your day. You don’t need to spend a fortune to fill your belly and this place proves that. Meals are not overly large in size hence the pricing but it does create the start to the day which we all need at times and it won’t burn a whole on your wallet for those who are frugal or can’t afford lavish styled cafes. Coffee isn’t all that bad either for the price you pay, although I’ve had better coffees elsewhere. If you’ve got a large family with lots of children and you won’t to at least offer your kids something on a tight budget then this place may just service that need. Don’t knock it till you try it. Some of the cafes around Southbank can be overpriced for what’s the food and service is worth. So don’t look past this place of you want to save money and still dine out.

If I could give this place 1/2 a star I would! Absolutely absurd with their menu. Ordered Eggs Benedict with ham, Calamari w/chips and a potato scallop for myself and my partner as well as 2 coffee's. Eggs Benedict came out with lettuce rather then spinach and fried eggs rather then poached as advertised on their menu! Calamari, chips and potato scallop was barely warm enough to be cooked through and so full of dirty oil it stunk. Coffee wasn't that great either. When the person who brought out the food was asked why it was made incorrectly we were told that this is how it's made. Absolute joke! The staff were rude and were not keen on refunding us for our meals only did so after I said I will take legal action as I'm entitled to a refund if my order wasn't what I paid for. Will never return and will never recommend to others unless ownership is changed and someone who knows how to make food properly takes over. Do your self a favour and go elsewhere! The staff are so rude that I'm surprised they are even able to open their doors to trade everyday!

Avoid if you have young kids! Ordered a hot dog and nachos for my family to share. They brought out a hot dog so hot I could not pick it up. When I asked the mature aged staff member, possibly owner of the bread roll had been microwaved, he said "I have to" , or else it would be cold. He seemed rather angry that I expected a bread roll fresh enough it did not require microwaving. He replaced it with another bun that was cold - obviously frozen and then thawed. For $10 including chips and an iced tea I thought he could have also at least put butter on the bun too. I led the kids nibble on a few chips after they cooled down and left without eating the other food. They don't care about the quality of the food they serve. I watched them serve other patrons around me and I don't think they smiled or even looked anyone in the eye. I tried to make this review fair, but there was nothing positive about my visit there. I didn't ask for my money back, but I left the food uneaten and didn't bother cleaning up what the kids dropped on the floor like I usually do. It's a shame, could be a nice place over looking the pools
