You can tell straight away that A LOT of money was put into this place with plenty of little touches and attention to detail. No issues with the food or service at all. Well seasoned, cooked and presented. First issue is one I have with most cafes and restaurants in Brisbane and it's that hot food is put on cold plates. Hot food belongs on a hot plate chefs!!! It's not that difficult. The second and most important is a warning to ALL diners to check their bill thoroughly. I found a $4.50 item called "Open Food", which is a button on a register that allows the waiter to input ANY dollar amount because there is no button for the item. This was a charge for "complimentary" bread. It was given to me before entrees. I never asked for it and customers should only be charged for items they ask for. This is the type of unscrupulous behavior that I experienced in Rome and shouldn't and wouldn't expect in my home town or any modern first world city. Would definitely think twice before going back which is a shame because Brisbane needs more places with quality fit-outs like this.

I had my 26th birthday party there and really like this place. The booking process was smooth and a guy called Amos was super helpful in arranging all the things. I am not a fan of karaoke but it's a fantastic experience, a bit like your own small pub with the music you chose from the machine. The customer service is great, the manager came to check if we are okay every now and then. My friend wasn't feeling well after a few shots and they have kindly bought the medicine for him from a chemist, best customer-service and really care about their customers! Food is great too, love their chicken wing. I found the price quite reasonable in Brisbane for a 20ish people party as both food and beverages were included. The only thing is that they respond slower in email so I think calling them directly is easier.

We've had our end of year staff function at the Palace Lounge and everything was absolutely spot on. John and his team had strong attention to detail and anticipated all of our needs in advance. Great private room which catered for 20 of us and felt very spacious.. there was wide range of songs to choose from and very attentive service - little bell in the room did all the trick! Will definitely return again for our next functions.. thanks again for looking after us.. highly recommended!
