Kung Fu 12 Szechuan

We had an excellent experience here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well organized. I really liked their food which was well seasoned and at the same time not too spicy that someone not used to this style of food can still enjoy it. It's certainly worthwhile trying it out.

My friend suggested me to try this new and small nice place. She told me it's the only authentic Szechuan restaurant in Howard County, cause she's from Szechuan. My family and I are so satisfied with the food, service and environment! I esp. like spicy braised fish fillet, ma po tofu, double cooked pork and the homemade noodles as well as wonton. Their servers are so nice, and the owners are very friendly. I like their modern and traditional mixed Chinese style decorations, which is very attractive to host guests. I'll definitely bring back family and friends to enjoy the food and celebrate some special moments.

I ordered the Chong Qing Spicy Chicken for lunch. After receiving my order I feel like the use of "chicken" in the title is quite misleading. My meal felt like digging for buried treasure to look for the chicken/green pepper. I decided to split up the meal into its respective pieces. What I found was shocking, and the pictures show the results. Was this somebody's method to clear out old peppers by dumping handfuls of extra in my meal? To note the positives, and the only reason I gave it a second star, the fried pork dumplings were good and so was the side of white rice. Would not order this meal again.

Awesome little place! The first dish I ordered, I thought was slightly over cooked. When I brought it to the waiter’s attention, he immediately offered to have a fresh order cooked up, but we settled on another dish; Shredded Pork with Spicy Garlic Sauce. The pork was delicious, and they even threw in a free soup, discounted the price and didn’t charge me for the hot tea. Everyone makes mistakes, but the the important is owning up to it and correcting it. I’m 100% satisfied with the food and service here, and will definitely return.
