Shoney's

I had the bourbon glazed salmon , I've had it many times always have learned it's better without the bourbon glaze taste more like soysuce than than a sweet bourbon, but this was the tiniest serving, this meal with a coffee is $14+ probably my last trip to a Shoneys, I now understand why the other resturants in the area are on a wait to be seated but hardly anyone in Shoneys.

I've only eaten here a few times and it seems to be hit or miss. The buffet is either really good, or it will make your stomach hurt. I generally get pretty good service from the waitresses, so that makes up for it I guess. The lobby always seems to be clean and taken care of, and the bathrooms meet the same standards.

We have always had good experiences here except this morning. It was awful! We arrived at 7AM because we "just knew" the buffet would be fresh seeing they was only open an hour!!! We ate the buffet as always and it was not fit for anyone or anything to eat!! It was all either over cooked or sat out too long and was hard and dry! Our waitress was great! I did let her know about how bad the food was and i know it was out of her hands. She did give us a 15% discount that another waitress got on to her for doing! Two adult breakfast buffets and two soft drinks was $26!!! That was with the discount and we didn't take maybe 6-7 bites!! Unfortunately we will not be returning here and that saddened us because we enjoyed eatting here on Sunday's as a family!!

Went for business meeting with client. Everyone got ice waters with lemon except one person ordered sweet tea. Server was very sweet and didn't put in a ticket for it. Up front, we double checked, and two other staff members said, 'no worries, we didn't charge you. Thanks for coming in.' The hot food bar looked/smelled great.

The service is always great. Tracy is awesome. Our group meets every month and normally everything is good, but this morning the breakfast bar was not stocked well. The kitchen was very slow to bring food out to replenish. It was 7:30 am and starting to get busy. I hope next month will be better. Thanks.

As a waitress walked me to my seat, I saw a mouse by the booth that she walked me to. I informed her that it was a mouse in the corner. She was very nice and offered me another table, but at that point I don't think I could handle eating at a place with loose mouse running around during the day especially with a buffet. I will never eat here again. This is not the first time I have heard of them having a pest problem.
