Peets Coffee & Tea

2 stars for not tasting burnt like Starbucks. Ordered a 16oz., 6 shot BREVE, not crazy hot, and a 16oz 4 shot blended latte. The breve turned out to be 20oz.(too much mil), made with milk, not ½&½, and scalding. The blended was ok. The 2 drinks totaled $17!!!😳 Even Starbucks only charges $8.50 for the breve! Dutch Bros. only charges $5.95 for the breve, and maybe $4 for the blended. And their coffee tastes better TOO

I ordered a drip coffee and it tasted old and burnt. I’ve been disappointed by this location a handful of times. It’s really too bad this Peet’s is so inconsistent. Edit: took off a star. We were in a rush this morning and decided to chance it with this peets since it was on our way. Our order took a full 30 minutes to complete, and once again my coffee had a burnt aftertaste. I wish someone would open a nice local coffee shop in Todos Santos plaza. I bet it would do really well. This peets is a joke and the only other option in the area is Starbucks.

This Peet's is my go-to coffee place! Well made drinks and friendly staff make our visits there very enjoyable. Patti, the manager and her crew even know our names and we are greeted with a smile . Patti has helped me expand my coffee choices by suggesting drinks and variations to try. My favorite is their traditional cappuccino! The line can get long at times but the baristas are efficient and get through the orders relatively quickly.

Staff was perfect in every way attentive great eye focus when I shared the news that the little toaster oven was over 10K we were off and running.....someone please tell that tall woman who works the right side counter that her eyes were joyous expressive and delightful and she makes wonderful coffee by the by....I digress....

I went in about 5:40pm this evening. There were three tables occupied and a couple of people behind me in line. I ordered and gave my name to the cashier as is usual procedure. After I received my coffee I walked over to my table where my kids were sitting. Before I even sat down: the cashier a lady with shortish black hair calls my name. I said yes? She goes: we are closed now. There were clearly other people still in the coffee shop, most of them still sitting down. I found it odd that she focused on me only instead of making a general announcement to everyone. It was rude behavior in my opinion. I told my kids to get up and we left the place as everyone else was sitting and drinking their coffee and talking.
