Andy's Frozen Custard - Concord, Nc

If you have never tried frozen custard before be prepared to have regular ice cream ruined for you going forward.....it just doesn't compare to this. Frozen custard is creamier, richer, and decadent. I love the butter pecan concrete with a caramel jackhammer and my boyfriend is all about the peanut butter cup concrete with peanut butter jackhammer. I also like the boot daddy or the mint Oreo with fudge jackhammer. Don't say I didn't warn you!

This was on my list to try while I was in the Concord area. Since I was getting it to go, a pint was the only thing that made sense. I don't like chocolate, so this left me with butter pecan as a pint flavor option. They have a drive through which worked well for Covid-19. The employee had a mask on as well. The pint was pretty good. I would really be interested in one of the build your own options, so I'd come back again sometime when I was going to eat it right away. Overall, this seems like a good option for those that like custard.

Love it! Great "ice cream". They also have malted shakes, they are the best in Concord! A whole variety of toppings from fruits to brownies, cookies and pies, yes pies. Unfortunately they don't have dairy free ice cream. In our family there's one dairy intolerant and he always ends up cheating his diet when we go there...

Andy’s is delicious! Especially the butter pecan concrete. My only complaint is that the portion is not always consistent and the butterscotch has been lacking. I had lots of butterscotch within my first few visits but lately it has been fairly absent and the custard has not been reaching the top. The customer service is good though and I’ve recommended this place to many friends! Best custard in town!
