Waffle House

My friends & I ended up here last night for dinner. They were empty other than one table. We sat down at two booths because there was a total of 8 of us. I don’t think I have ever had an experience like this at waffle house. We all ordered our drinks & food at the same time. They told us the grill was being cleaned at the moment & it would be about 20 minutes before they would get started on our food (which is fine, no problem there). We ended up getting our waffles before our drinks, we had to ask again for our drinks after sitting there for 30 minutes. I’d like to think our waitress was just having a bad day, but she was talking about our table to other employees & asked another server to take our table right in front of us. This made us feel like we did something wrong. Scotty came to save the day & made us feel better. He is very attentive & on top of things. We were also short a sausage by the time we were leaving, he got those for us in a quick manner on the way out the door. Thank you to Scotty for stepping up & taking care of us last night!

I had never been to Waffle House until just 3 Months ago and now I make sure I go there atleast once a week. I love this place!!! There are locations everywhere, the employees always very welcoming and greet me with a smile the second I walk in the door. They are also very knowledgeable about the items that they serve and can answer any questions you may have. I find it a nice feature that they routinely check up on you to make sure you don't need anything and they actually ask if you like your food to make sure it has been done to your satisfaction. I have not had a single complaint yet. Another huge influence is their hours. You can go at any time, day or night, and still order anything the menu has to offer. The food is delicious and cooked perfectly to how you want it. I almost never get dessert when I go to eat, but seeing the desserts while eating made me give it a try. I couldn't believe how good they are for the price they ask. Everything on the menu is a EXCELLENT price. Every time I go I leave beyond full and all for under $10. The whole atmosphere of Waffle House leaves me with a smile on my face every time. It is easily in my Top 3 places to eat EVER!!! Keep up the amazing job Waffle House. Thank you for your price, quality, and the experience itself. I will be back very soon.

At Oak Street Waffle House tonight and I ordered 2 Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. When I ordered the cook got mad and was cussing. When I received my food there was egg on them. I showed the waiter and he told the cook that they were not supposed to have egg on them and asked for them to be remade. When the cook heard this he started cussing and throwing things. However he remade them but this time he burnt the bacon and the bread!! I am not asking for them to be remade a 2nd time cause I just don’t know if it would come out better or worse tonight!!! The cook also was RUDE and MEAN to the waitress tonight anytime she tried to call an order or say anything to her he would cuss her!!
