Pancakes In Paradise

Service is a little grudging. Never been to a place where serviettes are not in a common area, or just wrapped around cutlery. Only came there for a milkshake as had been trying to find one for 24 hours, and definitely did not want to go to maccas. Not my usual drink of choice at all. Prices have gone up since I last visited 3 years ago. My pancake was nice and the milkshake was nice, fatty and cold lol Not the best pancake diner I’ve been to, but happy I got my milkshake.

Are kitchen staff supposed to use their hands once pancakes are cooked? I suppose to tell if they hot, except the pancakes arrive lukewarm so that clearly doesn't work. It was busy which I understand however I'm sure that's not an excuse for not clearing the table or providing cutlery to customers. Often I saw the wait staff looking around, I assume for things to do, but missed seeing tables that needed to be cleared or that people waiting for meals had no cutlery. Drinks were served within a reasonable time frame. Friends said their meals were nice.

What a surprise find, pancake diner! all u can pancake for $10 is good deal , however, best deal is on Thursday from 5 pm, 2 for 1 deal!! mate & I had full rack of rips, chips, coleslaw for $40! Juicy tender meat just fell off the bones, delicious sauce and chips. Coleslaw wasn't a coleslaw. it was couple of lettuce leaves with cucumber, tomatoes with coleslaw dressing. a bottle of wind between us for $15, what a great deal. I was so full. I had to try a desert pancakes. it was also 2 for 1 deal at $19. It was delicious. Good service by the crew. fantastic food, great deal at $74 for both of us. we walked out of the place so satisfied. so so good.

Customer service and the milkshakes were the only good part of our meal today. About 2 years ago I used to order from here all the time and it was amazing and today was just super disappointing for the price we paid. The hot dog was over boiled and watery, the nachos were flavourless, the chips were dripping in oil and had no salt. The pancakes were not cooked all the way through. They forgot hazelnut on my coffee and sauce on my hot dog. Super disappointed and won’t be back unfortunately

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Honestly just appalling. Ordered the Breakfast with the Works. Hash browns edible, bacon overcooked, grilled tomato looked like they put a fresh tomato on the grill for about 30 seconds, mushrooms were bland (ever heard of seasoning?) and the poached eggs were hard boiled eggs. Tasted everything on the plate and then walked out. I would consider hiring some new kitchen staff that actually know how to cook. Paid over $50 for something that belonged in the bin.
