The restaurant is nice you can eat in or take out the people are very friendly that works there I think it's a family restaurant. The food is very delicious I know they got some kind of special sauce. I usually get shrimp lo mein and shrimp and broccoli. I love the egg rolls they are huge and very delicious. it can be a little expensive you're spending anywhere from $13 - $15 a bladder you usually spend about 30 to $45 but you can feed your whole family.

So disappointed… the food was mediocre at best but honestly what killed it for me was the staff who just ignored us then made me and my family feel like a pest for even walking in. I don’t even have the words to describe how unwelcome we felt. I will not be returning as one time was enough. So bummed cause they’re the only Chinese restaurant near me.
The food:
The garlic shrimp barely had any shrimp just mostly veggies plus the shrimp was so tiny and shriveled up, I wasn’t sure how old it was. The orange chicken was comparable to Panda Express and the egg plant was less than stellar. I will say the chicken fried was pretty good.

I stopped in to have dinner here, for the first time in 40+ years. Yes, really. They opened in 1958. My family used to stop here when we were back in Dallas, & I particularly recall the delicious egg rolls. And they still are! It's very good Chinese, but I think take out is a bigger deal these days. I'm glad I did this. Itch scratched!

I know people who have been going here since the 70's and many of them really like it. I really wanted to like it, maybe it's what I ordered. I had a combination plate with chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. Also came with an egg roll, fried shrimp and rice for $12.95. Nice variety for good price but it was soaked in sauce and soggy. The best part for me were the crispy noodles on top of chow mein People with me enjoy the shrimp in lobster sauce, Hunan chicken and egg roll. It's been around so long a lot of people must really like it!

Food was super bland, dumplings were not cook through and the sweet and sour sauce I received had gone bad. Didn’t notice until I put it in the food that it had soured and curdled. Had To throw the entire order away

Some hits and some misses. Ordered Hunan Beef which says is supposed to be very hot. They forgot to add any heat to the dish. Still tasted good. Combination sweet and sour was good, but one larger piece was a little under cooked. You can up grade any entree to a deluxe dinner for $ 5.95. You get your choice of a cup of soup, a puffed shrimp, egg roll, red bbq spare rib, Chinese almond cookie. Rib was a little strong pork tasting, excellent homemade egg roll, great wonton soup, puffed shrimp good. Long time family and friends owned. Want to go back and try other dishes.

I give it two stars because as much as I hate to admit it, I will still probably return for the $5 lunches but I will have low expectations. Chairs were torn, carpet was dirty, the place desperately needs a facelift. All of the food was mediocre except the eggroll which had no flavor. I tried the Hunan beef and sauce was thick like gravy and the beef was really chewy. I could tell the veggies were fresh but that didn't help anything. The rice was mushy and the soup wasn't great either. When I just need to fill a stomach void, I might be back for a cheap lunch but I'd never bring someone with me. Maybe there is a better plate, I'll let you know the next time I go. Staff was alright, I got offered a refill on water at the end of my meal. The free soft serve ice cream was terrible and had little flavor.
