Top place for great food and well priced as well for what we had begin a family of 7 it cost less to go to the tavern for tea than what it would to go to the fast food place's for tea and fat far far better food the tavern is well maintained and clean service is fast food is hot and cooked perfectly great atmosphere for families to come to as well there was 9 of us all up and we got a table straight away. To the Chief great food taste's great an to the staff job well done to the owners great place clean tidy well looked after job well done

It’s been way too many years since I was last here. But yep…I’m back. Well back in Darwin that is. But the shipping centre is brilliant and dropping into the tavern for lunch on Mother’s Day we were blessed with a complimentary champers and a high class restaurant style meal. To compliment all this were perfectly poured beers, an incredible wine list with decent aussie wines at good prices and reds kept cool. Air con was blizzard style icy cold which was perfect on a hot humid day and surprisingly the beer gardens were lovely with ceiling fans and fresh air. Just a great place to visit

Great place for lunch and dinner. Quick service and great food. Always full during lunch and dinner so you'd better book, especially during weekends and monday night. The POS machine must be hard to use, everytime I order the cashier is struggling with it and there are usually people queuing just to order food.
