Awesome meal and service! Went here on Feb 10 for birthday dinner around 7pm for my boyfriend and received excellent meal and service. The ambiance and atmosphere of the place is calming and beautiful! Our server was amazing and knew the menu very well and had many great recommendations. There were not many dairy-free or vegan options on the menu which makes sense for an Italian restaurant but my options personally were limited but what I did get the black spaghetti and salad tasted great. My boyfriend and daughter enjoyed their pizza, meatballs and chicken parmesan meals as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you are not vegan or dairy sensitive.

What a wonderful meal and service! I can’t wait to go back!!! Fungi pizza, meatballs (not pictured), kale Caesar salad, baked broccoli with cheese and sauce, limone pasta was light and flavorful, the chicken Marsala was so delish! We had great cocktails and wine. Our server was amazing and the management checked on us several times too. In an age where many restaurants are struggling with staffing, 246 has a great team that made our night!

I came here for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed the experience. They had a 4 course prix fixe menu. I enjoyed everything but the fourth course which was the mascarpone panna cotta ( I didn’t like the texture and flavor). All the other courses were delicious. They included the Caesar salad, Fritto Miso, Black spaghetti, and wood roasted halibut. My favorite dish was the halibut. It was probably some of the best fish I have ever had. I tried some of my spouse’s tagliatelle and it was delicious as well. The cocktail menu is limited so if I had to do it all over again I would do the wine pairings. You do have to pay to park in the lot next to the restaurant but after 6pm during the week it is free. I will definitely be back to try their regular menu.

To start, my party ordered shared appetizers of the meatballs, garlic "cheesy" bread, prosciutto... paired with a red wine. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a side of pasta and the "Hugo" cocktail. Everything was amazing... even better than the food I ate while visiting Italy 🇮🇹 For dessert I took the Tiramisu to-go, it was equally delicious 😋 and I've tried many places hoping to recreate the experience I had in Europe over the summer, no.246 is about as close as I've encountered. I will definitely recommend to those looking for date night, networking with coworkers, or a night out with friends. Oh, the customer service was excellent! The menu doesn't have pictures (and it certainly is no cheap affair) so I appreciated the accurate descriptions our server provided, to help us choose the perfect meal. I had plenty leftovers to eat the next day, and the flavors were even more rich & intense. 🤤

4.6 | love this place! one of the first restaurants I ate at in Downtown Decatur and it rlly set the standard. we’ve frequently this place a lot over the course of two years and it underwent some changes, to seemingly a more traditional approach to Italian, but most menu items remained untouched. They also have a chef’s table option for like $75-$80 I believe for four courses [you have to reserve ahead of time]. this spot is a Decatur gem and I would highly recommend stopping in. we’ve had great interactions with the wait staff outside of one encounter with a wait staff once [who we never saw again], and they have an ambiance that’s pretty incredible. this Ford Fry restaurant is one of five I believe in ATL? The other I know of is The Optomist which I have yet to visit. I would say if you’re looking for some good Italian in Decatur, this should be one of your first stops.

My family had a wonderful evening celebrating our mothers 60th birthday. Italian is her favorite, and we wanted to try a restaurant that was new to all of us. I'm so glad we came to No. 246. They are doing Italian right! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm, and inviting. From the time we entered we were greeted with smiling faces. Great music playing, there was definitely a lot of chair dancing going on at our table. The MVP of this evening was our incredible server Michael. He is THE B.O.M.B!!! Management, he needs a raise and some recognition. I've never had a server give such an accurate rundown of a menu. He took such great care of my family, and was essential to us having such a great time. Now, the food! Appetizers Complementary Sunday sauce and bread-very very good. This could be a meal on it's own. No. 246 meatball-GET IT! Take my word and just order one for yourself, because you won't want to share it once you taste it. Or you can have them as an entree with the spaghetti. Our Entrees Chicken parmesan, Marsala, Milanese (all with sides of the fresh house made pasta),  and Agnolotti formagi al limone. Nothing that came to the table disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious. Fresh and so flavorful. Cocktails French martini, Hugo, Bellini, Palermo Vecchio, and my favorite Moscow Mule. Love, Laughter and a great meal. What more could we ask for. This dining experience definitely left an indelible impression on me. Well be back soon.

Stopped here late on Monday, thankful that they were one of the few places open! My first time, my wife's been before. We stopped in for drinks, and decided to try one of the pizzas for a late night snack. The drinks were quality. The pizza was wood fired, and it had a nice char to it. Service was also great, as our waitress gave us recommendations and the atmosphere here is very nice, perfect for a date night. *One thing that kept it from 5 stars. After 10pm someone came inside right up to our table to ask us for money, then left immediately. A waiter came up to us right after they left and apologized. I understand that there's a major staffing shortage in all service related jobs, and there's only so much that staff can do.
