Piece Of Cake

I’m so disappointed. I’ve been ordering cakes for years, but it seemed like every time I ordered a whole cake, they are always dry. This time, I decided to do cupcakes instead to see if things were different. Nope. A dozen cupcakes (6 strawberry, 4 birthday cake, 2 red velvet) and all of them were so dry they crumbled like cornbread, except the red velvet ones. I keep giving Piece of Cake chance after chance because the cakes used to be incredibly moist and delicious, but I think I’ve spent my last dollars here. Also, my cupcakes arrived all disheveled from the roadie delivery driver. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Check the pic — you can physically see how dry they look.

Their cakes were good just not excellent. The biggest issue is their cakes are more on the dry side. Camicakes definitely taste better but Piece of Cake has better customer service and ease of purchase. 5.76$ per cake slice is a great price. The strawberry cake was the better in my opinion because it was rich and moist.

This location is smaller but customer service is great. Husband bought my red velvet birthday cake from here. I am very picky with red velvet cake. Their red velvet is ok. The cream cheese is excellent. They have a cooler with precut slices of cakes and they have cupcakes. Wish they had cheesecake. Had the strawberry and key lime which was good. Pricing is a tad high.
