Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Definitely a must stop. Regulars are a little not welcoming but that's normal for the Range.

Great spot that gives you that north woods resort feel while being just inside Duluth city limits. The food is good and reasonably priced. The tap beer selection is great for a "middle of nowhere" resort spot. The best part? The service. The staff always has a smile and a wave when you enter.
Before or after your meal visit the wonderful public, family friendly, beach right across the street. Island Lake Inn is one of my favorite spots that gives you that up at the cabin feeling during the middle of the work week.
