Chic-a-boom Room

This was our first time here since it was changed to the Crown & Bull. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleaner decor and layout. The menu was very good as well. It’s simple yet includes a good variety of items. The twice cooked wings were amazing along with the Johnny Blaze burger in beyond meat. We look forward to visiting again.

If you are in the mood for a amazing brunch in downtown Dunedin, this is the spot! The first time I went here was my birthday, and what a great experience. The food is fresh and tastes amazing, and the staff are always super friendly and take the extra step to make sure you have the best start of the morning possible.

I walked into this place and got to sit at the bar as a first come-first sit basis. Immediately the bartender (Nikki) noticed me and took my drink order. Very attentive. Asked for a menu and it came with a specials for the night too. I ordered the salmon and asked what the best preparation was as they have more than a few. I settled with the recommendation of Nikki which was the pepino Y pepita style. It was great. The salmon was super hot which I definitely appreciated. The risotto patty was interesting. The sauces and cucumber guac were very good and complimenting. Overall, had a great first experience here. Its an easy laid back environment which was nice for a Friday evening. I'd come back and try other item off their menu. The tacos with mushrooms look intriguing. Keep up the great work!
