Ordered takeaway and was pleased overall. The food was ready at the time promised and service was prompt and friendly. The prices are reasonable and portion size adequate. The must try dish is the shrimp with paradise sauce. Battered shrimp with a cream sauce with a hint of curry. Absolutely delicious!

This is a very classy place with great portion sizes of Chinese food. I recommend the Combo 1 for 2 people, as it gives you more than enough and includes an egg/spring roll, a choice of soup, some entrees, a dessert and drink for around $22/person.

I love that they can make most of the menu items gluten free, but I found the food lacked flavor. The service was wonderful.

Service is great. Atmosphere is very nice. Price on the high side based on portion size to $$ ratio (small portion).
Ordered:
Ying chow fried rice - ok
Stir fry beef flat noodle - ok
Cashew chicken - flavourful (recommended)
Szechuan beef - flavourful, too much batter barely any beef
Cantonese chow main - tasty (recommended)

This restaurant is your typical Chinese place catered to a western customer base. The food is decent, however it came out after only about 5 minutes after ordering so it's obviously precooked or warmed up, the ice tea was just the powdered stuff you buy at Costco.
The servers are attentive and come to your table multiple times to check up on you which is nice.
Overall this resturant is okay. It's not bad nor does it stand out.

This place has been around forever and are great! My wife is celiac and also we avoid MSG. Pearl River is very accommodating for this and knows their stuff. If you have celiac allergies you know how painful it is to try juggling a conversation when you order to make sure you don't get gluten-bombed. This is the only Chinese food restaurant that we order from, cause it's safe and really good. Highly recommend it to everyone.

I love Pearl River restaurant. I have been going here with my family since I was young. They have amazing Chinese food. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean. Nice place to bring your family. Highly recommend.
