Glovers Station

Had brunch here on Saturday 22 of Jan 2022. I had an bacon, egg and cheese on an English Muffin, almond crassiont with a large flat white and my wife had the eggs with brisket and a regular soy latte. The eggs and brisket though very beautifully presented was very salty. My wife could only finish half. I finished the other half but even for me who loves salty fish and eats it on a regular basis it was unpleasant. The gravy and the meat were over seasoned. The English muffin was stale and had a filmy skin but the filling was good. The Almond Crassiont was large and tasty though a bit too sweet. My coffee was great but the regular my wife got was very small, child size really. This place is far from cheap so when you are paying top dollar you expect a high standard. Glovers Station has not met this standard on this occasion. The decor and feel of the place, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Hoping for better next time.

Chill place for brunch/lunch and or catchup. They have the mryum online menu and order system but you can also order through the servers. The internet connection is really bad inside so suggest you sit outside for quicker connection to order online. Good food (on the more expensive side for brunch menu but they have a good range of counter items) That's the chilli scrambled eggs on toast - good spice hit

We were there on Sunday the 10 th of July. I don’t know who’s the current owners but stuff was under serious pressure! It was only one girl on a coffee machine, two people on a floor and one at the cashier and a lot of customers. Well… they tried their best but it was too hard to satisfy all of us. I just hoping this place will keep great service like it was before.

Very disappointing. Ordered three coffees and three cabinet (pre made) egg and bacon rolls. Coffee took 30 minutes to come out and was lukewarm ($6 each). After one hour we asked for a refund and left. Noted at least four other tables who arrived after us and ordered off the full menu had finished their meals by this time. Staff simply kept saying sorry for the wait instead of actually working out what was going on.

Standards have fallen significantly since I was here last. We had a booking. We were seated for 20 mins, no menus or water in sight. We eventually ordered over the website, and I was charged a fee, which is frustrating since we didn't have the option to order via the waiter. Food arrived and the waiter didn't bring cutlery, or notice we didn't have any. We had to flag someone down to request it. Food was bland, and I didn't finish it (despite being hungry). It was lunchtime on a Sunday, and it was half empty so clearly others also feel standards have fallen.
