Tecate Grill

This place is delicious. I had a mango Fire margarita and it comes with a chamoy stick that’s bomb! The server was an absolute doll! She was so accommodating and kind even though my picky kid was being a little bit dramatic about not wanting this or that on his meal. The birria is fantastic and has a nice spicy sauce to dip. Whatever the green sauce on the enchiladas was was so good I could have drank it straight. Yum.

Found this great authentic Mexican food restaurant by accident but it's now our regular go-to for us. New ownership as of 3 months ago so ignore reviews previous to that. The food tastes great, portions are generous, happy hour prices and Taco Tuesday prices are a bonus. (See pic of my taco). Don't be in a hurry when you come though. The wait is worth it!

The food is absolutely delicious, and affordable. The drink menu is also extensive, we showed up at about 5pm on a Friday and they had 3 dollar house margaritas that were bomb. The best part was the service though, my brother said he was going to finish his drink and named his next and as soon as he finished it she had the next drink on the table. I didn't catch her name but she was the best waitress I've had in a long time.

6-25: Ivan remembered our drinks when we came in ... no easy feat for someone who deals with a lot of people! food is always good and generous portion. 10-28: Took my mom here for dinner. We had the shrimp rellenos. As always, excellent food and margaritas were on point -- nicely chilled, just the right amount of salt and just .... nice. Ambiance inside is just neat, the decorations, and what has to be the biggest TV I've ever seen in my life. It's the size of my bed, easily. This place has had some bad press in the past but i urge you to give this place a chance. They've risen above all that, to make for a nice place to eat. When you're #2, you try harder, and these guys are well on their way to being #1. Highly recommended from me. My only issue, and this isn't really their fault, is that parking behind the place is tight. Giant trucks keep taking up spaces that are clearly marked 'compact only'. If you live close by, consider walking, biking etc.

This place is pretty amazing. If you like real Mexican and not everything smothered in green chilies then this is your place. The mole is Southern California/northern Mexico style and absolutely awesome! Service was excellent and fast. Every staff member was nice and helpful! This was a great surprise! YOU GOTTA TRY IT!

Araceli has been the person to take care of my friends and I for months and has never been anything but kind and fun. Ramon has always came and said hello regardless of how busy, and the food has been simple and delectable every time. I highly recommend you check this place out for amazing margaritas, fantastic tacos, and the best service in town.
