Beach St Garden Gallery & La Bel Amici Cafe

Great food and fantastic staff! I booked for lunch and asked if it was possible to sit outside. Unfortunately it was busy but the staff made sure that if there was an available table that we could sit outside if we wanted. We were deciding what to get and about 5 min later they asked if we still wanted to move! Very accomodating! Food was excellent! Seafood was top notch! Recommend the squid, seafood linguini and prawns! Although limited items to pick from, all was executed very well! We over ordered so we got our last dish wrapped up for take away. Keep in mind if you come here, they don't have take away containers! So they wrapped it all up real well with some tinfoil.

Menu was limited to about half dozen options for mains, what was available wasn't anything special. Quality of ingredients and presentation was good but no salt = no flavour. Every part of the dishes lacked flavour. Big disappointment. Staff were nice enough but definitely not returning based on the taste of the food.

Not a very good experience…We arrived late around 2:15pm and saw a table empty outside with the view. Ask if we can have it and the reception haven’t even check and declined it. Then we asked for another waitstaff and asking whether your restaurant closing at 3pm (shows on google map) so I believe won’t be other booking at that time and she said if Sue(?) the reception said so, should be minimal chance that there is a table outside available. We totally understand that if we haven’t made a reservation we won’t be able to reserve a table with a view. However, if there is a chance we just wanna ask and they just left the table empty without cleaning up the dishes instead of giving it to us. Until we left the restaurant, there was no new customer coming in and sits outside… About the foods, the starter were good but the other two dishes weren’t.
