Huxtaburger

I had a tasty Sondra burger here on their second day of operations. At first glance it looked like a rather plain burger, iceberg lettuce and tomato obvious. But, there were a perfectly correct number of embellishments, so it was a tasty meal. This vegetarian burger pattie is cooked crispy on the outside. I can’t stress enough how important this is! My burger, to eat in, still got presented in a giant paper bag. I took it home to recycle.

Ordered for dinner tonight. Burgers arrived hot which is awesome as other burger deliveries tend to come cold. However, the quality of the burgers was less than average. The patties taste like store bought frozen beef. Hard and not at all juicy. Burger buns were greasy as and overall not much flavour. Will not be going to huxtaburger again.

Friggin great burgers and chips, really friendly staff. I came up at 11am and wasn't sure if I wanted a brekkie, beef or chicken burger and one of their staff walked me through their menu and most popular choices. She waited patiently while I spent an inordinate amount of time picking, before settling on the Dillon. The burger was so effing tasty. The smoked paprika sauce had a great kick to it, the patty was great, the bun was soft and buttery - exactly what you'd expect from a great burger. The chipotle chips were great and went well with the burger, too. 10/10 great experience, and keen to go back again!

My second experience, 17.6.18. The burger was much better but still not as good as Eastland Huxta burger. I will raise my star from 3 to 4. The 2 dollar coffees are good. 5 dollars for a large coke no refill is a bit rich. An improvement non the less. Not well presented and extremely cheesy. Not enough suace. I went to Huxta burger in Eastland and was extremely impressed. Could not wait to try this new store in the Glen but was let down. Was it expectation? Honestly I don't know. Have I had to many burgers? Maybe. Honestly it was a let down.

Paid $19.50 for a burger and very salty onion rings, which were ok, not great. But $1 for some ketchup considering the prices charged is really not good value. I totally get the charge for dipper sauces, but not ketchup. I think that you should really re-think this. Also the staff seemed so, not interested. I guess they hear customers complain about this often.
