High Sierra Grill & Bar

I am rating the restaurant and the seafood. This restaurant is located just next to the airport. The waitresses that served us were super friendly and charming. The food was really good, especially the seafood fajita and salads. The decoration of High Sierra is really unique and relaxing. Could be an excellent choice for a nice date in Goleta. Highly recommended.

Newly addicted to this place since my job change to this area. BEST chili I've ever had hands down, and order it at least twice a week! Everything on the menu so far has been good. Happy hour specials for food and drinks start at noon, and their WiFi is awesome and super easy to connect. Friendly staff. Large place and has rooms for private parties and events, as well as outdoor seating. Kind of a sports bar meets mountain lodge vibe.

I would have given it 5 stars but the greeter wasnt very welcoming. But once we were seated the server,Patty , was very friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious we had seafood platter and fish tacos both fresh and delicious. We also got a slice of carrot cake it was really tasty. The atmosphere's alright too

We expected too much. With the new name, etc it seems like all they did was hang their model airplane collection from the ceiling and call it by a new name. We had to go find someone to seat us, he was more interested in socializing. The food was the same, the menu was the same. At least the food was good. My salad was fresh. But since I can get good salad almost anywhere I wont go back.

Cool place, but the food is terrible. I've been here four times and have tried a sandwich, burger, salad, and something else that the waiter had recommended. Everything was bad. You can't blame the cooks though, it's the owner's fault. No cook should be expected to be able to make any entree properly when the restaurant's menu has some 100+ items on it. My suggestion to the owners: cut out 75% of the menu and bring in a professional chef to train your cooks how to make the other 25% of the menu really well.
