Stumpy's Lakeside Grill

A fun place to eat with great lake views. Very large And even with quite a crowd it doesn't seem cramped. My bake Cod was delicious, seasoned well and hot, and my wife's fried catfish was as prepared better than any I had tasted. Kids will love this place and it also has a full bar For us old folks.

It was a heck of a lot bigger than I thought. When upon entering, there is a boutique filled with clothing, jewelry, and knickknacks. You order your food at the booth upfront and the go towards the back of the room to find a table. While going through the hall to enter the dining room you'll find an ice cream parlor. I thought it was cute touch for the kids or just as a quick stop for dessert. Once you enter the dining room you get a glance of the lake. You can either eat inside or lakeside. There is also a full bar if you just want to hang out and watch a game. The food was fresh and good. Personally, I thought the food could use a little more flavor, but they provide you with ketchup and tartar sauce so that was good. Portions were a health size and the environment was great. I would recommend it if you want some quality catfish and shrimp.

The fish tacos are SO delicious!!! And so was the brisket tacos. I love the kids options, chicken strips, grilled cheese, popcorn shrimp and corn dog. They have unlimited free chips and salsa. Your order your food then they have all the condiments and fixings for you to add yourself if you please. The sitting area is inside or out with a beautiful lakefront view. My kids loved feeding the ducks and the catfish.

First visit today...likely to be the first of many! Very good quality for "fast food". Didn't know ahead of time that you order at the counter and then pick up your food. Had the catfish Po-boy and a BLT. Both were excellent! Onion rings were large and tasty and plenty of them! Sitting on the covered patio overlooking the docks and all the ducks, geese, turtles, and fish was very relaxing. Great afternoon retreat!
