Murky Waters Blues & Bbq

Arrived on a Saturday shortly before noon. More people flowed in after 12 but the place wasn't packed by the time we left about 1:15. I ordered the full-sized Nachos app with Pulled pork, sour cream on the side. It was no doubt hearty and fulfilling. It could of been my main entrée. I went with the wings (a dozen), I believe, their were parmesan and I can't remember what else. My side was the potato salad. The food came out quick, it was fulfilling and overall, delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and had refills on the table in a timely manner! In addition, she kept checking on us to see if we needed anything.

So in love with this place! Service was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing. We had the fried pickles, fried okra, burnt ends, baked beans, potato salad, blueberry lemon drop, brisket loaded waffle fries, pulled pork, sausage, brisket, and mac & cheese. Portions were so large we probably can eat leftovers for the next week!

Ended up here on a whim following a beautiful evening just cruising the coastline. From service to food, everything about the experience put the cherry on top of the night. I believe Macy or Lacy was our server – very patient, much appreciated! Sadly, right as we were finally ready to order, they ran out of burnt ends; so he got a combo platter of the meats instead, while I got a massive burger dripping in pulled porked, fried onion straws, and barbecue sauce. Naturally, I sampled all items at the table 🤷🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️ I loved each one, sides included! Murky Waters also was in stock with Buffalo Trace, which many restaurants are often out of lately, so that was great. Definitely planning to return!

When so many places try to substitute something other than Brisket and call it Brisket, this joint doesn't..Nice fat marble, It's fall apart in your mouth tender with good flavor. It only gets a ding as the smoke ring was small from a short duration smoke. The fried okra was excellent but the Collard greens were SO sweet they were left uneaten. The Huge plate in pic is of the leftovers .. If you come, try the Brisket ;)

Wonderful restaurant and bar with friendly staff and amazing food! The service was good with a nice atmosphere and décor. We ordered two plates of wings and the brisket nachos which all were outstanding! They have a full bar with multiple beer options on tap along with bottles. There is even an outdoor patio for the nice days! The only reason this is a 4 star is due to the bathrooms having a bad smell and unkept. Every other part is great. (sorry I didn't have better lighting for the photos)
