Cafe 1217

Great food and service! My egg salad sandwich was probably one of the best egg salad sandwiches I've had in awhile, and the cookies and cream pie was to die for. The lady taking our order was super nice and patient while we were deciding what to order, and even gave a few recommendations! Will definitely go again if/when I have the chance!

This place was amazing! I had the locally sourced cheeseburger with red pepper jelly which comes with potato salad and it was wonderful. My husband had the tacos which looked delicious! My daughter had a Chinese chicken salad which reminded me of the Ramen cold slaw which I loved. We topped it of with chocolate cake and strawberry pie! We will be back! Definitely a MUST in Hot Springs!!

We really enjoyed our meals. Ordering was a little different at first, but the staff were awesome and we really enjoyed their friendliness. The angus burger was recommended to me from a friend that lives in Hot Springs and also by the staff. I can definitely say, it was great. You should get it too. We arrived a little bit before lunch and got our food quickly. When the lunch crowd came in it was super busy. We'll go again if we're in the area.

My husband and I are visiting Hot Springs for our 25 year anniversary. We stopped in Cafe 1217 for a sweet treat to enjoy back at the hotel after dinner and I have to say their desserts are super delicious. On top of that, the staff was friendly and kind. For us, that's just as important as the quality of the food and they did not disappoint. I definitely will return to try something off their lunch menu on our next visit. Thank you ladies for making delicious treats and for your kindness. Keep up the great work!

To go i ordered Beet salad. One of my fave treats!! Greek salad ....amazing Dine in my coworker had shrimp salad she loved it. I had Egg salad sandwich...the perfect side was their couscous salad. OMG...so perfect. I have never had a single bad bite here. The poblano pimento cheese with tomato soup...perfection.

For all the positive reviews I read about this restaurant,I was baffled at why the food was not even close to being good. The staff was very nice and polite. Unfortunately that is where the positive ends. My wife had the burger and potato salad. The burger was just okay and the potato salad tasted like dill that's it dill. I had the Ruben thankfully that was edible, also ordered the butter nut squash soup. Possibly the worst soup ever. Weird taste and awful texture. If all soup had the same texture I would never eat soup again. But the staff was very friendly so that did help the experience.
