10 OUT OF 10!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bakery. From start to finish in preparations for my wedding, Ambrosia went above and beyond. The tons of emails I sent with questions were answered and everyone I worked with was absolutely lovely.
THIS CAKE - guests from our wedding are STILL talking about how delicious each layer was, how perfect the sweetness level combined with frosting amount etc. I taste tested every cake flavor/combination they offer and while they are ALL amazing, I HIGHLY recommend the Italian Creme, Spice, and Strawberry, each covered in cream cheese frosting. Absolutely SUPERB!
THANK YOU AMBROSIA for this showstopper cake!

I arrived at work to find we were in need of a cake for our managers bday. Called Ambrosia at 3:55 on Friday, they close at 4. Rushed over and picked the cake. They offered to write on it, but I said I didn't want to put them out since it was a last minute. They were happy to do so. In 5 minutes I had a beautiful, decorated cake and was on my way. It was a huge hit!! It made her day and everyone got to enjoy a piece. The cake was delicious, as always. Huge shout out to y'all for taking the time to help make her special day. Great place, great workers and of course, Awesome cake.

My husband went in for my birthday to purchase a cake and it was the most delicious cake I have ever had. I love carrot cake and their’s is absolutely out of this world. So if you’re in the market for a cake that you will not be sorry for then you need to go to this bakery because it’s wonderful!

Went in to do a cake tasting we had scheduled for my upcoming wedding. The person who scheduled our tasting was told the date of the wedding.
Once we got to Ambrosia, the girl handed my mother a small, crumpled paper bag with three very tiny pieces. When we asked if there would be anyone to talk about the options and such, we were quickly told that we could just seat ourselves and if we had questions we could ask.
We tried the Italian cream cake, and it was incredibly dry. When we were discussing among ourselves, a different woman comes up and immediately starts in about the cakes and asked when the wedding was. When we told her the date, she immediately said "No. We're already too busy, with the holidays going on then." I was shocked to hear that, seeing as we already notified them over the phone. When my mother asked her if there's any way they could accommodate, seeing as they were recommended, then woman said, "Well, you could try everywhere else, and if no one helps, then I guess you could come back here and we'll figure something out."
So, it was a hard no at the jump, but you'd be fine to help as a last resort? What kind of business strategy is that? That's just rude.
I find it funny that my sister had a cake tasting with you guys before her wedding and her and my brother-in-law were treated to a very different experience than me and my future husband. The two cakes we tried were so dry it was disgusting. Obviously communication between you and the employees needs work, as well as how you treat potential customers. Oh, and thanks for reaching out to my mother to apologize to her once you saw my bad review, but you don't have the decency to apologize to me or my fiancé.
Wouldn't recommend this place in the slightest.

The cookies are always a favorite at our house. The butter cookie with orange and chocolate is my favorite, my son is fond of the lemon, and my daughter the snicker doodles! The quiche, sausage pinwheels and bacon twists are also quite good. The Italian Cream Cake is the best!

I was under the assumption that Ambrosia was just a bakery; I was very wrong. I went for their lunch menu on the recommendation of a good friend. I tried the roasted garlic grilled cheese and the turkey cheddar avocado sandwhich with dijon mustard. I was very pleased with both sandwiches and also a fan of the location downtown by the old railroad station and Saturday farmer's market. Now, the four stars instead of five is probably a personal preference issue. I'm not a fan of the 3 to 4 desserts and cakes I've had from Ambrosia. They weren't horrible, but definitely not delicious. So in synopsis...5 star brunch/lunch and location. 3 star for the sweets, but as I continue to try new things, I'm sure that will change. [Coffee people - they serve self-serve Community brand coffee. No esspresso ir special brews]
