Very affordable Mexican restaurant. They give a big bowl of Mexican chips while your order is getting reddy. We had quick service as not many people were there. Food is good. Non vegetarian will enjoy their meat options. Vegetarian - beans is an option. Hope they had tastier options for vegetarians too. Tried their dessert fried ice cream- which was good.

Hot Springs is swamped with people/tourists and it takes 1 to 2 hours to get seated anywhere for dinner. I looked for somewhere to eat outside of Hot Springs and found this Mexican restaurant that seemed authentic without the long wait and crowd. We were seated immediately and brought water. They have beer and mixed drinks here. The micheladas were very good. We ordered carne asada and steak and shrimp. Both plates were good. The chips and salsa were great because the salsa had some heat to it. My carne asada was tender and seasoned. The rice was good and my husband's shrimp and steak were good. I asked for green sauce and it was a tomatillo sauce with cilantro that was delicious. My only complaint is I think the beans were canned. They didn't taste bad. I could just tell they came from a can. And the 2nd basket of chips were extremely stale. We would definitely return for more delicious Mexican food.

Great place to eat and have a drink. The food is flavorful with large but not huge portions. Well, except for the Burrito California - IT'S GIGANTIC! My friend can usually clean her plate but she was only able to eat half of this one. I had the #12 combo with beef enchiladas and a taco. The meat was seasoned to perfection. Enchiladas were fork tender and taco yummy. The white queso is creamy with a slight heat to it. I bet the nachos are addictive. We will definately be back next time we are in Hot Springs.
