Howdy Folks! Okay….let me tell you about this hidden gem of a place. Well, I want to tell you….but then again I DONT want to tell you, because this place has a “we are family” type of vibe and I don’t want it to be ruined - but against my better judgement….here goes nothing: The crawfish here are so good they make me want to go to my sweet dead grandmother’s gravesite and wake her up and say “Girl…come taste the baby lobsters” (as she used to call them). I would do that, except I think it would be weird if y’all walk in and see me eating with a skeleton and we don’t want to scare the people away….. Out of the million and one places in Houston that is in the crawfish Bidnez, this place is by far my favorite. I go about 2 times a week. I simply love it! I love the staff, I love the owner, I love the patrons, I just love EVERYBODY! The crawfish is not the only thing good here….I get the salad, which is ALWAYS fresh. I’ve also gotten the wings (both naked and fried) which are DELISH! Let’s not talk about the frozen jack and coke….HONEY BUNNY! That thing will have you doing the WATOOSIE out on the patio. Let’s just cut to the chase: BLUF: Pros: Free and plentiful parking (which is rare at Houston restaurants these days) Friendly Staff Happy Hour Great Ambiance Down Home Feel $ - great prices Music Cons: Nothing! I came here to use the atm to go to prospect next door because they bs make you pay for parking with card $20-40 and don’t tell you that they only take cash at the door & I didn’t have cash. Whelp, I stopped to get a drink and felt at home. Pablo the bartender was awesome. I don’t regret stopping there. Felt like it was meant to be. Enjoyed myself, Laid back atmosphere. Nobody there trying to be something they not. Fit right in! Great way to celebrate my anniversary!!! Crawfish was bomb!!! Pablo make them drinks RIGHT!!!
