Tex Mex Grill And Bar

We had an AMAZING experience here for my boyfriends birthday. The Mexican candy margarita is a 10/10. And the fajitas?!? Soooo juicy and tasty. Our server Brandon was so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Also the price was great! We got appetizers, 5 adult entrees, 6 or more drinks and it was only $130! A steal! We can’t wait to come back and try something new.

A lot of people base the worth of a Tex mex restaurant off of its salsa. Which is understandable, it’s the first thing you get. While their salsa was great the rice and beans are phenomenal. I didn’t get any photos but I want to go back to just get a plate full of rice and beans. I’d be happy with nothing else. This does not take away from how great the rest of the food was I just really love good rice and beans. Between my partner and myself we had; guacamole, house margarita, Mexican candy margarita, vegan quesadilla with “beef”, vegan burrito with “beef”, and the peach cobbler. Both margaritas were really good, the house margarita is unlike what you typically get. It wasn’t too sweet nor acidic. Very well balanced. As you could expect the Mexican candy was sweet but not too sweet. The guacamole could have used a bit more heat, but I also really like my guacamole spicy. The vegan entrees were delicious. It’s really nice having a Tex max restaurant in the area that offers vegan meals without just giving you a side salad or picking up some beyond meat from the store. Thought was put into the dishes and you can really tell. A++ I had absolutely no expectations with the peach cobbler but I was impressed, it was grilled/pressed(I think) slightly crunchy burrito with house baked peaches(not drenched in overly sweet syrup thankfully) and a side of homemade whipped cream(we got the vegan whipped cream and it was amazing). It’s refreshing to get a dessert that is not a sugar bomb and is well balanced. My only critique would be the peaches could be cooked down a bit more. The owner waited on us and gave us some history on his restaurant and come to find out he painted the murals on the wall! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I can’t wait to come back and try some other dishes.

Went there a few days back. We had a Groupon deal for Mixed Fajitas for 2 from this restaurant. The food was really delicious. The meat was juicy and soft. The green sour cream that they served was so yummy I can’t even explain it with words. One of the best tex-mex foods I have ever tried. The interior of the restaurant is very colorful, loved the ambiance and music there. The staffs were welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wife and I stopped in for a small bite. Their chips are well salted. The Chile con queso is thin, but very creamy. It goes well on everything! We plit their Quesadilla amd added their Braised Beef as a protein. The braised beef was very tender and well seasoned. The guacamole was delicious, too. For my last piece of quesadilla, I put guacamole on top, amd drizzled the last of our Chile con queso on top of that. (I told you it goes great on everything!) The rice and beans were very tastey, too. Especially mixed together, which has been the way I like to eat my Mexican rice amd beans since I was a kid! Very friendly staff, too. The owner came and visited with us briefly, and he was very conversational. This place also offers a lot of options, including a Keto friendly dish, for anybody pursuing that diet. Additionally, they do offer a Military discount with proof of ID, which I always appreciate! Looking forward to trying other things on their menu!

I love their food! Their fajitas are top notch! Fantastic flavor! I’ve gone to many restaurants and I can say that their food is at the very top! My wife had quesadillas for the 2nd time and she couldn’t finish them, the amount of food and amazing! Worth every penny! I had enchiladas verdes and OMG! Delicious! Way better than any other restaurant! Better than la tapatia, tepatitlan etc just to name a couple. Highly recommend the watermelon chamoy margarita! The service is awesome! Everyone is friendly! Oh! Lastly ! Refried beans are not canned, you can taste the difference on these home made red refried beans!
