Inn On The Gulf

.The restaurant is clean, well maintained and presents a upscale atmosphere. Paige our server was excellent. She was attentive, friendly, new the menu, answered questions on area and overall a great representative of the restaurant. The crab cakes, fried clams and Greek salad with shrimp for lunch were very good with nice size portions. You get what you path for here. Found out there are food substitution options for menu more than other places and reservation options too. Is the prices higher than other places around it yes. Is it far superior food wise yes. Would go again for sure to try more of the menu.

First impression: it's very "old fashioned nautical clubhouse". Dimly lit, LOTS of dark wood. The smell of seafood is instantly noticeable when you walk in. Honestly, there were lots of mixed reviews online, so we were unsure what to expect. It was very busy when we arrived, but we were seated a few minutes before our reservation time. Our server, Lilo, was wonderful. Very friendly, big smile and very attentive. We had the Pork Chops, Stuffed Shrimp, Stuffed Flounder and Fried Shrimp. They were all excellent! The pork chops were well seasoned and very juicy. The flounder was a gigantic portion, flaky and stuffed with a really nice crab stuffing. Both shrimp dishes were excellent as well. The kids are currently devouring their desserts and we look forward to returning soon!

We've eaten at the Inn several times, always on the patio. It was cold Friday night so we eat indoors. What a wonderful dining room with wood paneling and intimate table placement. We shared the special: shrimp, scallops, and grouper with a lemon butter sauce. Great meal. Lemon butter sauce was fantastic. The portions were so big we took home half the grouper. Drinks were reasonably priced. It was very busy, but we were seated in fifteen minutes of arriving. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Do not hesitate to go to the Inn for a great meal and evening.

This is a little gem of a restaurant and a lovely location near the water, and has a nice few from the outside dining area. I can't say enough good things about the place. Our meals were excellent, they have a happy hour, and service was superb. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but they were so accommodating. The prices were very reasonable and it just had a good clean feel. So yes I would highly recommend!

Honestly this review would be 0 stars if I could do that. We were in town for our family and we decided on a nice dinner. One person in our party is allergic to sea food. Now I get it this is a seafood restaurant but we have been to at least 100 others that are mostly seafood and there has always been an option for her. This time we ask the waitress (Heather) and she quickly disregards us and says it’s a seafood restaurant. So I asked her to please check and see if there was a safest option that we could do. She offered to check. She returned with the salad and started taking orders I asked her if she had looked into and of course she says so quickly oh yeah just a salad like she had forgotten. Didn’t even seem bothered by the fact one person had no food. So my wife had to sit and watch our entire party eat. Now if this is the case this is your only option that is a shame on accommodations however I feel it was the waitress was too lazy to concern herself with asking. This was a huge turn of and next time we will stick to Sams across the street as we should have! If you are looking for a place with good food and good service then this is not your place!

After a short trip to the Beach side park in Hudson, me and my Fiance along with our 1 yr old daughter decided to try out the Inn. It smelled good from outside the door. We went in and were very well accommodated by the wait staff. Very nice ladies! I decided to go for the Famous Grouper Sandwich, and having never had Grouper before, I was very happy with both the size and flavors of the sandwich! It came with a GIGANTIC filet of Grouper with all the traditional toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, pickle, and they brought sauce on the side. My fiance had the BBQ Burger which was as good as expected. As a side for our little one, we ordered the Manhattan Clam Chowder. She enjoyed it with the complimentary bread. The food and service was great, and I think we will come again when in the area next time. I will say that the other patrons of the restaurant made us very uncomfortable, and I believe the wait staff noticed. They seemed to take extra care to ensure we were well served. Maybe it's due to the fact we are an interracial couple, but my fiance was certainly the only African American in the dining area at the time. This is of course at no fault of the restaurant and I commend them for their friendliness! Thank y'all for such wonderful service.

Great place, fantastic food. Mike and John are hands on owners. Both are very sociable and go above and beyond to make your dining experience awesome. Bartenders Becky and Nicole, the best. Two very hard working young women. Both always make our drinks perfect. Top shelf long island ice tea, and dirty martini.

This place always blows my mind with good food and good service. I've had seafood many places and this is definitely one of the best. I got the crab cake sandwich today and wasn't disappointed. My dad who never really complements a restaurant told me how good his fried flounder was. As always I'll be back.
