Queen Taco

I absolutely love their food. The waitress was a sweet heart, as well as very prompt and accurate. One of the best dives I would personally say, to eat at. I barely even knew about the place before this evening other than just driving by it. I will definitely be considering this restaurant as one of my places to go out to eat at, more often.

I've had queen taco takeout 3 times. All three times I ordered the fish taco platter. Best fish tacos in the city. Prepared quickly, ingredients are fresh. Fish was tasty and flaky, cabbage was crunchy. cheese was a perfect pairing. Rice and beans were cooked to perfection. came with chips and salsa which were also so fresh. Owner was very friendly, their daughter was also friendly ( we had a small conversation about life in independence while the cook prepped my food), she was funny. Looking for awesome local Mexican and you don't want taco bell, la Fuente, El maguey. try this place

We went in there for lunch today and the lady at the counter wasn't that nice. She seemed annoyed at our presents. I thought that was just how she is until a group of men came in and she perked right up laughing and conversating with them and everything she showed them great amount of attention. Then back to us to give us our food. So quiet I didn't even hear her. Maybe she wasn't that nice be she assumed we didn't speak Spanish. We will stick to the taco truck in Shawnee. Rather give my business to a growing business anyways.

This place has good food but the people who work there are rude and ignorant. They have old menus online and I ordered an item off their own menu. When I get there they tell me that it's something they have never sold. I showed the photo THEY posted on THEIR Facebook and the waitress said that was never their menu even though it had Queen taco at the top. I don't want anyone this stupid handling my food.
