Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Great place to eat, for Seniors or anyone who likes good food for a decent price. The employees are friendly and give good service. Pictures are of the CHICKEN STRIPS DINNER and The TRIPLE DECKER CLUB. Also, for us coffee drinkers, they give you a carafe of coffee which is more than enough coffee. THE CLASSIC POTROAST is also good, comes with peas, carrots and onions. with your choice of two sides.The BIG BACON BLT is also a good sandwich, which you can add onion rings for a nominal price.

The food here is good. The place is clean. The biggest problem is that they're understaffed. That problem turns everything into a long wait for everything. I saw a women come out to speak with about 12 people waiting for a table say, "I'm sorry but no one's going to be able to have table for at least another 30 to 40 minutes. I only have two servers at the moment and they've got enough to handle as it is." So, if you're thinking of eating here, I'd call in advance and hope you aren't lied to.

Not too bad. It had been over a decade since I had been to perkins. So when I saw one not far from where I was staying I got really excited. It wasnt crowded which was great. Once I got the menu i realized why the place was empty. The prices are a bit much just for basic stuff. Granted the food was really good though. I had found memories of Perkins but now I could not remember why. None the less. Everything is more expensive everywhere so I cant be too irate.

Waited about 15 minutes just to get drinks ordered. We ordered breakfast and dinner. Bacon overcooked, steak in my quesadilla was chewy and pink some and overcooked in some places. Pie is the only thing worth getting there. We have been sick since eating there last night. I'll spare you those details.

Perkins has always been a favorite place. We decided to go there today for lunch bc I received the weekly text that today was BOGO free entree day. We drove 14 miles to eat there so we could use the BOGO discount. At the register I showed the cashier the text msg. He wouldn't accept it bc I didn't have an email. Why would I get the text if I didn't qualify for it?? I know he could have been gracious & discounted half the ticket but he wouldn't. I'm so disappointed that I honestly don't know if I will ever go to Perkins again. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is bc the food was good.
