Chef Mike's Charcoal Grill

My husband and I ate there for the first time. Everything we ordered was excellent. The staff was very friendly and honest when we asked about what to order. The portions were great and we had a dessert that we shared that was recommended by another customer. It was out of this world. We will definitely go back again to try some other dishes on the menu.

We came in at a quiet time, we seemed to be the only ones there. Tried their monthly specials, meatballs and ricotta, and their Bier Banana Cheesecake. Both were phenomenal. We also tried their BBQ brisket margarita pizza, ended up looking more like chicken than brisket, but was deliciously tangy and spicy. No wait, plenty of room to sit, lots of local beers on tap, and events nearly every night.

This is a new location for the restaurant and as they get started there may be some delays in the delivery of your food but be patient as it is truly worth it. My wife had the salmon and and I had the chicken breast sandwich and both were very flavorful as the slow roasted smoking heightened all the flavors together. Even the roasted vegetables were a delight. The waitresses were truly helpful, knew the entrees well and were courteous. A number of families all arrived at the same time, so there were some delays in getting everything together, but I'm sure this will be ironed out as the patron patterns develop. So sit back and enjoy as the flavors will knock you out, we will be coming back!

I ordered a Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad and it was delicious, especially the chicken and poppy dressing. My mom had a pizza which was a bit small for the price but it was delicious too. The wings we ordered we a bit undercooked but the sauce was good. They charged me twice and had to call back to clarify the extra charge. Besides that issue the setting inside is very nice and the staff was all friendly. Will definitely come back for their salads. Would recommend.

we go here at least once a month even though it is 15 miles away and we have a lot of options, Food is consistently good, Some meals are better than others (hamburgers are always good, monthly specials usually shine dependent upon your tastes - one of our favorites is the blue gill which is served a couple of times a year, and the coco loco ice cream). You can find something wrong in the finest and worst restaurants - while some others folks may really like what you don't. We have found service consistently very good - although there have been a few questionable ones that didn't last long.

Let me start off by saying, the food was absolutely delicious. It's clear that everything was freshly made and that my bacon cheddar burger was perfectly cooked by someone who knew what they were doing. In addition, the fries were really really unique. Totally different than anything I've ever had. They were divine. Service was very friendly. Extremely nice and accomodating. I only have two issues...the ranch dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle. The pace of the meal was extremely slow...which can be explained to a degree by everything being handmade, but I can't imagine what it's like when they are busy. All-in-all, I do recommend this place highly. The food was magnificent. Would like to see them come up with a house-blend ranch dressing though (if this wasn't), and I would have liked to have gotten things a bit faster. Thanks for a very good meal.

THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT!!!!! I tell EVERYONE about this place and THEY COME BACK AS WELL!!! Anything on the menu is great. He grills everything he can. Salmon is superb and the potato skins are not what you think. They are batter fried slices and they're awesome. There is a longer wait for your food than most places, however when you get it you see why. Everything is made from scratch and cooked to order. Plus they are open till 11. Put your shoes on and go!!!
