Texas Roadhouse

The place was a little wrecked especially the bathrooms but it was the last hour before closing and they were probably bamboozled all night from hungry holiday shoppers. We both ordered the sirloin and apparently they got our cooking instructions backwards since we had to send hers back being undercooked. Both steaks also had a bit too much gristle. Had to hunt down the waitress a couple times. Other than that it was an ok experience

I arrived at 3pm just as they were opening. Got seated right away, and my server was fantastic! The food was not the best this time. I eat at Texas Roadhouses, including this one, very often and the food is usually excellent. My rolls were over baked, and steak was extremely tough and chewy. Not the usual experience for sure.

Great time! Great food!! I took my son here for a steak dinner. We started off with the amazing bread with honey cinnamon butter. He and I enjoyed snake bites together. I got the smothered ribeye with green beans and a sweet potato. He got a New York strip with green beans and steak fries. Everything was great! Our waitress provided top notch service!

Friends and I went to the Texas Roadhouse on Southport on Monday and taken to our table upon arrival. Our waitress, Ariana, was friendly and prompt with our rolls and the drink refills. My food, the salmon meal with a sweet potato and corn, was well prepared and hot when received. I look forward to my next time at this location.

Very busy place in a Saturday night. We made call ahead reservations and arrived at the appointed time and still had to wait 30 minutes. It looked like there were several large parties seated in the restaurant. The server had several tables and she did a good job of trying to keep up. We had to wait on rolls as they were out of rolls. We had to wait for our drinks which arrived after our salads. We sat in an area where there was a large party that was very boisterousness which made it difficult to talk at our table. It was so loud, we could not hear the music playing in the background. Overall, it was a good dinner. The food was good.

Highly recommend! Everyone was so nice! Our server, Kasey, was super sweet and even though she was busy she checked on us several times! She was quick with everything and made our experience really enjoyable! We ordered 3 steaks and all were cooked perfectly! The manager was walking around checking on everyone, he checked on us a couple of time and was fantastic each time!

Only reason not 5 stars is because my steak wasn't cooked to my satisfaction however the wait staff was awesome in how she handled. I didn't even get the words out of mouth before she noticed I wasn't satisfied and immediately took my plate. They refilled my sides and the manager personally brought my plate back out to make sure I was satisfied which I was. Kudos!!!

Food is always good, not exceptional but consistently prepared well and of good quality. Service from MacKenzie was exceptional. She was handling so many parties but was pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere is always a frenetic and on the loud side because they are so busy and there are so many people.

Food was fresh and tasted good. Very packed so it took a while to get our order. Definitely filled up on fresh rolls and wish I wouldn’t have ordered a meal (as it was pretty pricey). Extremely loud dining. Felt like I had to yell to be heard by my table. On a happy note, I got a meal for later when I get hungry again.

Excellent service, enormous portions, fantastic flavor at a reasonable price. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner. The food was very well prepared, the service was fast, efficient and friendly and we were amazed at the value. The chicken fried chicken is tender and tasty. My husband raved about his ribeye steak. This place reminds us of home. We will definitely be back. Update: Visited again on 5/3/23 for a birthday dinner and had the Grilled Chicken Salad. My husband had the Sirloin and Shrimp. The service was decent, but not as awesome as our first visit. We only saw our waiter three times. We used the kiosk to pay our check. The food was good, but not as amazing as that first visit. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but the restaurant was busier than it was for our last visit. Overall, this is still a good place for a reasonably priced delicious meal, if you aren't in a hurry.
