Next Door Indianapolis

This street food bar is fantastic and they offer an excellent sat/sun brunch that I can't believe doesn't pack the house. Great mimosa (can we get some mimosa flights happening here?) and the coffee was new-wave made to order. We got kimchi fried rice, pork buns, and banana pie french toast sticks. Each dish was great and the pork buns and kimchi were terrifically spicy, but I do think there were a few too many pickles on the pork buns. The banana cream pudding on the French toast sticks was the highlight for me, check it out for sure. Lavonte was our server and he did a terrific job checking in without feeling like someone was over my shoulder constantly, plus he was fun to talk to :)

Hadn't been to this location since they reopened after their Covid shutdown. The menu was completely revamped and had an intriguing mix of options inspired from around the world. I had the Thai shrimp and my partner had a fish sandwhich and Greek Salad. The food was high quality and delicious. My shimp were cooked perfectly, with a flavorful sweet and spicy sauce. My only complaint is the portion sizes were small for the price. My dish only had 5 shrimp. I plan to come back to explore some more of their eclectic options.

We had to stop by again before we headed home. Second visit was even better we had the brunch special with kimchi rice and a delicious French toast dessert that was to die for . Once again the manager remembered our names when we walked in, the bartender did a great job taking care of us with drinks and food.We were being beyond happy! Thanks for a great dinner and a great visit we'll see you next time we're in town.

We finally got to try this place via Uber Eats, and it did not disappoint! Their fried chicken sandwich was so buttery and crispy (we wished for more sauce, but will ask for extra next time!). Their pork buns were absolutely delicious and such a fun spin on a traditional Asian dish! We also loved the eco friendly carry out containers. A dine-in experience is our next stop!

The customer service was superb!! The food was good.. they really accommodated us, giving us the lunch special during dinner hours, but, that is because their menu is a little funky..and I mean that in a good way lol.. we had kids w us and they just werent feeling the new age menu and at that moment we werent either..but they really helped us out and gave us what we wanted! The cheeseburger sliders were realllllly good and the kids burger was good as well... the grilled cheese is very fancy and very cheesy, we were just looking for a typical grilled cheese on some fancy bread but these cheeses were just too much.. But, when our server asked us about our experience and why we didnt eat the grilled cheese.. we told him our "personal" opinion on the grilled cheese and he took it off of our check!! We didnt expect that and it was appreciated. We will return for the lunch specials because they are a little more simple than the dinner menu. The customer service is worth another visit!!

First time at Next Door American Eatery, and this place will be my go-to! We met family for brunch and ordered several items to taste and share. The Kimchi fried rice is delicious, next time no sharing, I want my own! The B. E. C. Poutine is a great blend of maple bacon, gravy and fries, it's that comfort food partnered with high quality. We plan to come back for dinner, there are so many menu items I want to try. Staff took time to answer questions about the dish with their own twist, no memorized scripts! I loved the Banoffee french toast, I didn't get a picture because we were too focused on the food! Food was awesome, atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, staff on target. We will be back!

Do yourself a favor and go here for brunch. Everything sounded good so I tried the hush puppies and egg rolls. Both delicious and the sauces they come with were so tasty. The poutine was amazing. The bacon was my favorite part. I also tried the French toast sticks, wow. The crispy outside was a nice surprise. My favorite part of the meal was the kimchi fried rice; it was incredible. The pork belly just melted in my mouth. I’ll be back for more.

Went to this restaurant for the first time today and was greeted with smiles and a refreshing atmosphere. The host was extremely pleasant and welcoming. I'm always nervous about trying new places so I think it's very important to have a host that is welcoming which was accomplished here today. I love the food selection on the menu. The staff was very friendly and the diversity of staff is a PLUS!!! I also appreciate how the servers visits eachother tables to asure that their guest are enjoying themselves. 😉 My waitress was Nazary (beautiful inside & out) she was extremely pleasant and it felt authentic! Her knowledge of the menu was very awesome and helped guide me to an awesome meal experience. Here are the pictures of what I ordered: for drinks the Boom! BOW! PUNCH! and for dinner I ordered the hand-held Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich and I paired it with my snack Fries w/roasted aioli😋 it was delicious and I have to be honest the fries were just a bit too salty for my taste. Overall I'll be coming back for sure and I love LOVE the atmosphere here!!!💖
