Marble's Southern Cookery

Really good dressing. I never thought I would find anybody that cooked chitterlings like my mom (I never heard of a KY until I moved to indy so they will always be chitlins to me) a little pricy they are but you can't be mad when you know how much work goes into have clean chitlins and Marble's has clean chitlins. I've now had the catfish, dressing and chitlins. I won't mention the chicken because it was not note worthy it actually had no taste and flash fried in old grease so I won't do the chicken again. I was skeptical about the catfish but I was very surprised it was really 👍 I will definitely get it again. I wish there was a larger order of the chitlins but I would have to do a double order which would be about $35 for 2 cups of them 😢 😕 😞. I'll be back next week to try something else and oder my chitlins dressing and catfish.

I grew up eating here. If you like soul food smothered in gravy, This is your place. The peach cobbler is mmmm. Where's the ice cream? Don't forget to pucker your smacker with a LG. The Mix drink (Fruit Punch and Lemonade Combo). You're liable to catch Mr. Marble walking around supervising his delightful eats. You're going to spend at least $15.00 eating here, but this is comfort food Indy style.

I was in Indy on vacation and was looking for some good, home cooked, soul food. Marble’s did not disappoint. This was during the Covid 19 pandemic and they abided by all social distancing rules and regulations. A friend of mine and I ate here after a long night of drinking, and I’m telling you that was longest 2 hour drive back home. Healthy portion size, amazing flavor, and the food sticks to your ribs! Not to mention how friendly every single person on the staff was! Will most definitely be back the next time I am in Indianapolis! Thank you Marble’s!

I've eaten at Marbles several times during the last few months. Each time I have been very pleased with my food. The menu has a nice variety of meats, vegetables, and desserts. I think the portions are generous and the cost very reasonable. But Marble's greatest asset in my opinion is the warm and friendly environment of the restaurant and especially the staff. Everyone is helpful, generous with their time, and willing to answer my questions. As other customers have said, I wish Marble's was open more hours.That is my only suggestion!! If you enjoy a great home cooked meal, I strongly recommend Marble's. Give it a try!!

Wow very nice ! Like teally amazing food. If you're really into home cooking this is the place for you. Over Stuffed myself. I had the smoothed beef short ribs tender meat falls off the bone. Very tasty ! Absolutely a 10. My wife s and I'd I didnt reach for the salt shaker. Food season to perfection.

We came here at the suggestion of other family while vacationing in Indy in Fall 2017. This place hands down has some of the best soul food I've ever had. It's a small place but once you walk in it's much larger than it seems. They accommodated our group of 8 people. It's cafeteria style so you'll grab a tray and slide across the bar and pick what you want. I'd list it but really they have it all and all of it's good. Several of us got different items and tried each others. The desserts were just as good and I love they had kool aid as a drink. The prices were good for what you get larger helpings and the staff was great is dealing with all our questions. Will definitely be returning.
