Firehouse Subs

The sandwiches we had here were very good but took a long time due to lack of staffing. We visited on Sunday Dec 3 at noon. When we entered we saw there was only one employee working, who informed us the wait would be 20 minutes. After he wrapped up making several sandwiches he took our order and those of the two groups behind us and then got to work on making ours. The sandwiches took 10-15 minutes to make, but completely understandable given the lack of staff and groups of people still coming in. When we got the sandwiches they were very good indeed. I hope the gentleman who got left on his own today to hold down the restaurant sees the tips he was graciously given by nearly every person who dined during our visit, or gets a raise. He did a great job making the best of a bad situation, balancing his tasks effectively while providing great service and food despite the challenge of running the restaurant on his own. He should be commended for his efforts.

Jayla was the only one working today when we came in. For being the only employee, the store was clean and orderly. My sub was the best I had ever had from a Firehouse. I hope Jayla learned a lot from todays experience… it may have felt overwhelming and chaotic at times, but her work ethic and leadership was noticed by our large family! Thank you Jayla!

We were the only people there so the subs were fast and hot. They don't have any hot sauce either. Huge bummer that firehouse doesn't seem to have the main thing that sets it apart from other sub shops anymore. Update: lunch time service is subpar. Very slow. A person in scrubs had to leave before even placing their order because it was taking so long with one customer who just wanted extra meat on their sandwich. Didn't seem like a tough request but apparently it was.

The first one I shared with my wife so I decided to order a second one for myself and it was even better than the first! I also ordered the Combo so it came with chips and a drink! The Turkey Bacon Ranch comes with the three obvious ingredients of course, tomato, cheese, lettuce, onion & mayo! They also give you the bread options between White & Wheat! If you are a Rewards/Points Member of Firehouse, be sure to plug your phone number in to receive points from your visit as our total price was around $30 or so and we received around 2900 points from that visit alone! 10,000 points will get you a free sub of your choice! All in all, Anita was very professional, patient and friendly! I would definitely visit this location again! Great Job Anita!
