Jackson Coney Island

My Golly! This place is good! We had a friendly work competition on who had better coney dogs, Jackson or Virginia? I won't trash the competition as it's not needed because I have photos! My order was on time for pickup. The cashier was genuine. Cook seemed grumpy, but his food was awesome! It was 10 cents more for the same order here, but the food was 10 times as good. Thanks you for a great experience! First photos are Jackson last photos are Virginia. You can tell how nicely the food was packaged. They also didnt wrap the fries in wax paper which makes for soggy fries.

This was my first time and probably last time visiting. First the good.... the fries were really good and hot. The waitress was friendly. Now the not so good...The restaurant was freezing cold!! They weren't serving breakfast which disappointed one in our party. The food was just mediocre. When we paid with our card the waitress swiped it through a handheld machine. Then asked if we wanted to leave a tip on the card. We said yes. Then she asked, how much... there's 18%, 20% and 25% WOW!!! I have NEVER had that happen before. They have always either handed to me or turned it around for me to decide.

Food was ok, not as great as they use to be (my onion rings were not done still a little doughy), but that's not my issue. My issue is that when we walked in not one person acknowledged us, we go and sit down and the waitress just keeps walking by. She never once said I will be right with you. Then we order and while waiting for our food I realized the guy that is cooking/making our food has no hairnet/hat on. Also while we are eating I notice our waitress is grabbing silver by the end part (not the handle, the part that goes into your month) she is grabbing it by her unwashed bare hands to put it into the silverware baggie. And then our waitress after giving our food never came back to check on us until we were done eating. Very poor service (i did notice that the other waitress was super exceptional to her customers).
