Dna Dex N Angie Restaurant

Hands down, the BEST wings in all of Jax!!! We live over 30 minutes away from here and we always make it a point to stop in when we are in the area. To top it off, Dex and Angie are the nicest, friendliest restaurateurs I've ever met. Very kind and willing to explain anything on the menu. Simply the BEST!!!

It was very good food... The appetizers were mostly pre-made (hence 4 stars), but you don't go there for the apps. Unless it's for the potato skins... THAT appetizer was fantastically hand made. WINGS! Go there for the wings... I tried the Garlic Parmesan wings (figuring that I'd see how the basics went first), and they are damn good. It's a thick sauce, instead of just granulated garlic with grated parmesan thrown on top. Rich and flavorful. I can imagine the rest of Dex's sauces are just as well crafted.

This place has AMAZING original home made sauces and some of the biggest wings I've seen in Jacksonville. Don't go here thinking those typical orange sauces you get at most places. Here you can expect to see the fresh spices and ingredients. They are also able to make anyone of their sauces as spicy as you'd like. I recommend the carribean, blue angel and jerk sauces. Delicious! The people who work here are very friendly and obviously care about their food. The chef even comes out to see how you're doing and chat depending on how busy they are. I've been on a low carb diet for almost 7 years and this place has made wings lively again for me. They also have down south/soul food which my wife really likes but due the diet I haven't been able to experience yet. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

You can't just go around passing out 5 stars without some sort of validation. I live in the Greater Arlington area and there aren't many restaurants that I like going to that are near me. This restaurant sits right behind Taco Bell and I can tell you from my second encounter to my first food experience there that I will be a regular!! DNA stands for Dex and Angie (husband, wife and the owners) they're genuine and their customer service is A1! He recommended the Siracha, honey and ranch wings... A little different right? But OH SO good!! The garlic Parmesan wings gave me a new meaning to life and the greens almost took me back to my grandmothers kitchen! The owners, staff, vibe and environment of the restaurant as a whole really grasped my attention and tugged at my foodie heart. BOOKMARK THIS RESTAURANT... And, thank me later!

Absolutely love their food. I found them when they were located on St. Johns Buff Rd, but now they are on Merrill and they are just that much closer!!! The food is awesome and wings are especially delicious. We always get blue angel wings and cheese fries with pulled pork. Their fries are too die for! The staff is awesome also and its a local establishment. Eat local.

Hands down the best wings in JAX. Don't let the exterior appearance fool you. This place is a must try! It is truly a hidden gem. Awesome food, awesome service. They have a wide range of flavors to choose from. They will also go out of their way to make their customers happy. You will not regret eating here.

When my father first brought me here they instantly made us feel like family. Three years later we still are they’ve done multiple events for us and have made every event a memory. The food is spectacular and service is the best in the business. I definitely recommend you bringing down the family and enjoying the great food and the hospitality.

Incredible. Go get these wings! I don’t give a ton of 5/ 5s, but this restaurant has undoubtedly earned it. Please then next time you say to yourself “let’s get some wings for game night”, give this place a shot and you’ll never want wings from anywhere else in town. I’ve gone several times now and each experience is outstanding!

You want the best wings in town? Go here! I wanted to some wings for the football game. I needed something different from the typical chain restaurants though. DNA's wings are phenomenal! They are large with plenty of meat on them and the sauce was very tasty. I do like hot wings and this place did not disappoint. Most other places that sell wings just can get them hot enough. DNA does just that! We also got the potato skins which were LOADED and delicious! My wife got the BBQ pork sandwich which was really good and not short of meat! You can really tell they use high quality ingredients in the kitchen. The gal that helped me with my order was very pleasant as well. She did a great job with explaining the sauces and the menu. Will be a returning customer!
