Steak 'n Shake

I thought this location had closed. I drove by this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that it looked sort of open. The lights were on, but only 1 car in the parking lot. I looked on google and it said open so I went thru the drive thru. They took my order. I drove up to the window. There were 2 people working and they were not in uniform. I seriously got the impression that a couple random people broke into Steak and Shake and were playing house..... I paid and got my order. Everything was terrible. The fries were hard as bricks, the shake was WEIRD and textually off, and the burger was not standard Steak and Shake. It was gross.

I ordered from their online ordering and when we got there they said their system was down and they didn’t get the order. So we asked what to do. They said they was calling corporate. They never offered to make it because I had the receipt nor offered us a refund. We eventually just left. So now I’m going to have to dispute the charge because I got charged for food I never received. Horrible customer service

Wow. Unbelieveable. Baked beans and coleslaw were old and tasted AWFUL! to top it off, look st how much was given for a side. That's 2 dorks full of coleslaw. This is the 2nd time in a row that we have had issues when ordering lunch from here. Rude people that work there and their poor attitude reflects in the quality they serve. I wish I could give negative stars. Might as well shut the joint down.

I love the garlic burgers at steak and shake. This location doesn't allow dine in and only has 1 employee, or at least that's how it was when I visited on a nice and sunny afternoon. Regardless she was very nice, made a great burger, and was quick without giving off a rushed kind of feeling. I took away 1 star only because it's not dine in and because the location itself kind of sucks and is hard to get back on the main road, plus plenty of pot holes.

I hope that you will always keep the garlic butter cheese burger, because it is amazing and that's the only thing I order would like to have more options on the menu to get a garlic butter on other things and the garlic spread if possible, and would also would like to see more things on the menu just as well as new things, over all the food is good but this location is very slow and it takes entirely to long to place an order just as well as getting your order and the budgets are so thin that by time you get your burger it's cold and t g e fries are not even worth getting because you have to eat them right away if there fresh if not they will be cols in a matter of minutes, would like to have the bigger steak fries, if possible that would be amazing....
