Pretty good food, but a little too salty for my taste. Employees had great technical skill. I had everything I needed. HORRIBLE soft skills / people skills. Not one smile or friendly word in the building. It's like they all hated their life, jobs, and us customers were an inconvenience. Advice from someone who is unemployed and having a tough time finding work: BE THANKFUL.

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of seats available and service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed a burger and my son had the lasagna. Both were great. Building is dated and actually looked closed when we pulled in, but shouldn't be a deterrent to stopping here for a bite to eat. I would eat here again.

Our club and roast beef sandwiches were both absolutely scrumptious and arrived very quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great experience and we are looking forward to returning!

The food and wait staff was awesome..but the cook that apparently just got off shift was sitting at the bar..very loud dropping F-bombs and mother F'ers while a family with young children were trying to enjoy a Father's day meal. My husband politely went to the bar and told him to drop the f-bombs somewhere else. Our waitress kept apologizing and seemed very embarrassed.

It was very delightful. My wife and daughter and I had dinner there and was very welcomed. Everything was perfect including Brandi, our waitress. Food was great and the hospitality was even better.

Great spot to stop on the drive back from Petoskey to Grand Rapids. In and out in 30 minutes, and the food was all GREAT! Check it out! Picture is the Western BBQ Burger. Deeelish.

Very good place to stop! For me it was a random lunch choice, but a good one at that. I got the lunch special, turkey bacon wrap with some fries. It was delicious.

Our family had a luncheon after a funeral in the back room and the food and service was outstanding. They made homemade chicken stuffed tortilla wraps, pasta dishes, coleslaw, etc. and it was absolutely delicious. It was all homemade. The wait staff and owner was very attentive. What a fantastic little restaurant. I will be returning. Thank you to the owner and staff at Up North Grill for taking care of our family and providing us with such good service!
