Sher-e-punjab

Considered to be the most popular hotels, this Sher-e-Punjab resides just beside the airport on the northern side, with a great view of all the airplanes taking off which you can enjoy while dining in the open roof seating area enjoying a variety of foods and a wide range of course items to choose from. The service of the staff and their behaviour were at its best, they want to keep you engaged and entertained thereby not letting you get bored by just sitting in there. The location is also very nice as you would get this hotel besides the belgharia expressway and lastly the food about which most of you came, the food tasted very nice also, had their chicken and mutton biryani which were very tasteful along with some crispy chicken and with a plate of chicken tikka masala along with some butter tandoori rotis, everything tasted very nice and alongwith the view and ambience, it's a must go!

I must say the stay at Sher E Punjab was really good. There was recently some government road side work going on so we had to enter the backside route, however there were many watchmen available guiding us the way, as the front gate was not accessible at that moment. Inside parking space was available, uncovered but within the hotel premises so nothing to worry about. We booked a suit which was pretty specious. Very clean and tidy. The washroom was clean. The TV and sound system was really good. It is near the Airport and also to the suburbs that are Barasat and Madhyamgram. Just on the Jassore Road. Food was good. They also have inhouse restaurants and bar facilities. Room service is also available. Quite a good experience. Recommended.

A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming and followed by an excellent services with a lot of attention. We enjoyed a lovely let night dinner. We had the starters Afgani chicken which was amazing and tested absolutely delicious. We ordered Spacial clay pot chicken and butter nan as a main course which was absolutely delicious.

We were a group of friends went for dinner. Ordered crispy mushroom & crispy chicken at starter. Then ordered plain naan, mixed noodles, mixed fried rice, kadai chicken, butter chicken,& handi chicken. The food was good and the service is also fine for us. Ambience is nice. You want to go with family or with friends you'll thoroughly enjoy the vibe.
