Knolls Restaurant

The food here is quite good. Unfortunately the music is so loud you can’t have a dinner conversation or hear anything the server is asking you. Stopped in the other night for dinner and had to leave before we ordered because the band was so loud. The new band area is great but try repositioning the speakers and take the volume down a notch during dinner dining hours.

I want to start by saying I gave Knolls a only 4 Stars for atmosphere and that's for personal preferences only because it's a really nice place. O tend to avoid evenings there because they have live music a lot of the time and while that's great when I'm just out for fun, I prefer quiet while I dine. If I loved music while I eat it would get 5 stars. I have eaten here a lot. It is always good. The menu is pretty extensive and it never ceases to amaze me how good it is. Is it like going to Mastros or Capitol Grille? No. But value for your dollar I think its one of the best places you can go for a meal in our area. The bartenders and waitstaff are friendly, service is great the food is good at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? By the way....Best fish&chips in Orange County. But by all means, don't just stop with that. Everything on the menu is good.

I read some bad comments and I didn't go to this place for more than a year. Even though it's right down the street. One day my brother husband and I decided to try it for lunch and it was fantastic. The salads were great, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere is really cool inside. We thoroughly enjoyed it and have been back twice.
